it will be better if foreigners are able to own industrial land or at the very least

long term leases. they will pump foreign direct investment in industrial concerns

if they own the propery. and unlike portfolio/stock investments, they cannot take

the land physically back to their country.

also to amend the Bangko Sentral charter, allowing it (B/Sentral) to buy bonds

from local governments, payable in future taxes. that will pump prime the

economy of various local governments. and we will not need to always resort

to foreign borrowings which opens us to currency fluctuations.

if they are going to invest in a business okay lang yung industrial land. pero kung magreretire sila dito sa pinas, eh residential lang dapat. :D

Honestly, I don't have an idea how to go about this. But there has to be some way to regulate "cults". Problem number one, separation of church and state... and also, who's to decide a cult from a bonafide religious sect.

At yung iba pa. Nagiging violent.

Clearly there is a need for some kind of legislation. Any idea guys/gals?

ABOLISH ALL NON-PERFORMING/REDUNDANT GOVERNMENT AGENCIES

Ano ba talaga ang ginagawa ng DILG? Ever bother to ask this question? How much is this costing our national budget?

Kung ito ang unang ginawa ng gobyerno (cut the fat from government expenditures) ... bago nagpasa ng bagong tax measures, siguro mas naging katanggap-tanggap pa.

Everybody ,college grad or undergrad, will be allowed on all positions in ALL companies here in the philippines. For as long as they can show and have shown in the past that they are capable in handling the positions given to them. There shouldn't be the so-called minimum requirements with regards to degree attainment because we all know that education is quite expensive to get around.

Education shouldn't be so expensive in the Philippines. We have to lessen the requirement in order for an individual to earn a decent living.

We should remove the unnecessary units/programs in a certain course ..such as PE, Values education, WCT, ...If we want to have learned individual focus on the most important things..

IPAGBAWAL ANG PHOTO-OPS WITH SUSPECTED CRIMINALS.

GMA is definitely guilty of this. Hindi pa man nasasampahan ng kaso, ipinaparada na sa media na keso si ano ay guilty of kung ano... Remember Acsa Ramirez?

Subsidize the farmers.....develop cleaner, cheaper source of energy (nuclear plant).....build bicycle lane- answer for high crude oil (road widenning).........make our tourist spots more appealing (original touch)......train more genuises and make them stay and work for our country...... invest more on technology (we need to catch up!).... Imagine if our past presidents have placed its investments on technology and industrialization with proper techniques and funding we could have still been the #1 country in asia! but we slide while the other catch up on us! running the country is like running a business, you just have to make the right investments......... Korea =shipbuilding, cars, cellphones, electronics Japan=Cars, electronics, computers, etc.

considering this two country are bankrupt after the war! Filipinos knows what they want but they just dont have the money.......The money that supposed to make us a great nation is stolen!

WTF! we are victims of greed! :grr:

hi there everyone

i was just lurking around and i notice the title of ths thread and its very interesting....actually i've been thinking about this for a long time now... i'll appreciate your comments on this be it positive or negative...

this has nothing to do with chacha or the impeachment hehehehe

Primary Goal: distribute resources across the country and making the whole country self-sufficient and possibly minimizing imports and maximizing export. Maximize the resources the country have.

Secondary Goal: to lessen the population in Metropolitan Manila and hopefully decrease the crime rate in the region

Strategy: Since it is impossible to get rid of the pork barrel of the congressman and senators, might as well lets make the most of those resources. First, we have to divide the country according to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Then, iclassify the provinces of these three regions according to the industry wherein they will best fit (fishing, agricultural, poultry, cattle raising, industrial / technological, manufacturing and etc.) Meaning, in Luzon there will be provinces that will concentrate in certain industries and then the same with Visayas and Mindanao. There are hectares of undeveloped land and water resources all over the country. With the lawmaker's pork barrel, they can allot additional funds in developing these areas, providing necessary research centers in those provinces for specific industries at the same time as an incentive to the squatters here in Metro Manila, they will be provided with jobs and housing in these provinces.

A certain percentage of the products that will be produced will be consumed within the region and portions will be alloted for the urban areas and some will be for export, thus making the three different regions independent from the others.

Result: We will have a self-sufficient country at the same time we can boosts our export business.

Admittedly there are improvements needed in this proposal since it is just a general concept.

Very novel an idea here.

On the first goal, regions with large populations will demand the lion's share of that reallocation of resources. With such a sweeping restructuring of industries and means of livelihood according to geography, the lay of the land, so to speak, unless there is willingness to retrain entire local workforces to match specific and related industry needs, there must happen mass migrations of people. Otherwise, fields will go untilled and factories idled while the workers acquire necssary skills.

Even then, that says nothing about what is already on the ground. We can convert the buildings. They are, after all, just shells. But what about the machineries and support infrastructure? Power stations, water districts, etc.? What about civil service? Where there are none, they will have to be built from scratch. Otherwise, you would have to dismantle and transport them cross-country.

To connect this with the secondary goal, we've all seen how informal settlers deal with government-led relocation programs. It will not work. I would love to see it happen though.

Now, while we are all making this national enterprise work and trying to figure out how to pay for it (planning alone will take decades), our neighbors have been busily improving and adding to what they already have in place. Very soon, we will discover that because they did not turn their worlds upside-down in a mad-scientist experiment, our exports cost ten times more than theirs. And then we will be far worse off.

Finally, once when our three major islands are independent of each other economically, you can be sure they will all want to be independent politically. What then?

point taken there, actually when i was thinking about this idea that was one of the drawbacks i had... the fear that there might be imbalance and the three islands might want to be independent from the others. but what i was thinking is that if malacañang can pull off with this idea and satisfy the whole nation, i don't think they will think of separating from the country. Another thing perhaps another way to ensure that no island will breakout from the country is to centralize international trade and relationship through metro manila or should i say all vital part of the nation such as executive, judiciary, legislative and defense forces should be centralized in the capital.

this project i think will take a long time to implement... five to ten years estimated... it will be something that will start from scratch for major part of the country.... this is where the funds of the congressmen play a vital role... this time it should be properly documented. another important aspect of this proposal is the principle of "continuity" of course it will take around two administrations to complete the proposal, so it is very important that the succeeding government will commit to continue the plan.

again it is just a dream... hopefully it will come true some time in the near future.

Modify the emission testing required for renewal and application of motor vehicles. Gawin nila mga 3x a year. It's useless kung once a year lang gagawin; every renewal of vehicle. You want proof that it's useless?

Same goes for the drug testing. It's soooo useless kung every 4 years lang gagawin yan. Just abstain from using drugs for 2 weeks prior to drug testing; better yet, magbayad ka na lang para pasado ang drug testing mo.

Create bicycle lane/motorcycle lane (no tricycles or pedicabs please) at major urban roads. Right now ay not safe kasi eh, plus para maenganyohan ang iba na magmotor na lang kaysa magkotse (1 person/car?!?)

In line with this proposal... it will also be advisable if the government can propose a law that will state that before a person will be permitted to buy a car or register his car he must be able to present a proof or a document that will certify that he has the lot area or proper space where he can park or accomodate his car...in essence it should be a "NO PARKING SPACE; NO CAR" law this will eliminate the amount of cars parked on the streets... actually the street should be used for moving vehicles only and should not be used for parking... just like in singapore.

SUSPEND THE DEATH PENALTY LAW

Take note, I said suspend, not abolish. I am no bleeding heart liberal. I believe that there are people who DESERVE the ultimate punishment (at least half of congress, for example). But with the current state of our law enforcement agencies and the judiciary system suspect, I think it is only prudent to suspend this law in the meantime -- until such time that improvements on both law enforcement and judiciary system is achieved. Let's face it, more that half of those in death row are there just because they can not afford good representation. Not to disparage the Public Attorney's Office, but when you've got ONE lawyer doing 20 cases versus 20 lawyers doing one case, all things being equal, you know its the 20 lawyers whose going to win. <-- We've adopted these rights from the american system.

i will ask the DA to pass a regulation against the selling of over drugged chicken....alam ba nyo na ang chicken na ginagamit sa mga fastfood ay galing sa mga chicken farms na dependents sa chemical inducers para pampalaki ng manok? Imagine all those chemicals going to your body? The DA should regulate chicken growers in their production. kawawa ang mga kumakain ng manok....most especially mga bata.

GOOD LUCK PARE!

I've suspected as much. Chemicals has a way of working its way up the food chain.

And then, wala pang 1 second, and very fine print, sabihin ng ad na "no proven health benefits"! Why are these people even allowed to sell these stuff! SNAKE OIL SALESMEN!

1. that people with an annual income of P120,000 a year or more and have a BIR certified income tax return be given the right to vote only. (mabababawasan an flying voter at bayaran tuwing eleksyon at para wala ng "hello garci"!)

2. that congressmen should have a maximum budget for official vehicle of not more than P1.5million and that 1- "8" or "7" license plate should be issued for that car alone.

3. that vehicles with sirens and flashing lights not belonging to those officially sanctioned by law or without official polic escort should be automatically be shot by police authorities.

4. that police officers from PO1 to Chief PNP should be made to follow the law... including following traffic lights and traffic rules.
