meron mayabang dahil dami pera...ito nagtatagalog parin..pero..ang yabang...

meron iba feeling foreigners..kakainis tong mga to..the speak english and stare at the tagalog speaking groupies

 

there are people who change...good or bad. mostly bad.i've seen them..nakita ko sila..its sad that pinoys change for the bad...

Even though I grew up in the states since I was 5, I still miss and love the Philippines. I will never forget where I'm from and what my parents taught me about the filipino culture. I always listen to this song whenever I miss the Philippines.

Let's face it, there's no denying that most balikbayans specially those who came from the United States are boastful...yes hindi lahat pero karamihan, some even denies it but they're actually doing the boastful/showing off thing. When they started talking about their possessions and salaries I would give them lecture speech 'magyabang ka pag dito mo kinita ang pera sa Pilipinas, natural yayaman ka sa U.S. kahit janitor nagkaka bahay at kotse eh...natural na talagang yayaman ka sa U.S., mag yabang ka pag dito ka sa Pilipinas nakipagsapalaran at kung yumaman ka dito dyan ako bibilib sayo at sasaludo pa ako sayo'. capice ?

haynako, marami akong friends na balikbayans... masasabi ko based on my experience santa claus ang tingin nila sa balikbayans, ang akala nila kc marami itong pera, harbat dito, harbat doon, pag wala ng kelangan sayo, hindi mo na sila makikita, pero pag sinabihan mong gigimik kayo sa labas palagi silang me time sayo

bumubukol ang bb box at maleta sa spam, hersheys, marlboro cigs v.s. lotion, nike shoes, american eagle, hollister, dove soap ...at mga 2nd-hand clothes & stuff galing sa yard-sales

We love them as they are good for the economy. Many also comes back because they are Filipinos and they have love ones here.

Balikbayans should come home as often as possible and spend their savings here. Para makabawi-bawi naman ang bayan sa kanila!

Don't have to go home to spend there, just need to have relatives or a business there, heh.

i notice some people notices that most balikbayan are mayabang., well i hope you look at the other side of the fence baka naman na misinterpret nyo lang sila., like when they go back syempre natural lang na magkwewento sila ng mnga experiences nila and yung mnga napupuna nila na wala satin and tey would tell lot of stories/. kaya siguro sa tingin ng iba mayabang dahil laging nagkwento ng kasarapan and karanyaan in their own little way. but if you look at it some of us are envy narin sa ating kapwa pilipino.

When i was studying in the states, i'd fly back every quarter to the phils to be with my one and only. I had this nasty habit of shaking hands with balikbayans to actually know their type of work in US. MOst of them had coarse and thick hands. You be the judge then. However when they come to the phils, they have to act mayabang so that their families here will be proud of them.
