Borismo
i think its gonorrhea "tulo" I think its not necessarily gonorrhea. It may be just a simple case of fungal infection. If there is no pain, then it may be just fungal. Take oral meds for fungal infection and it will be gone in 3 days. Quote Link to comment
anarkista
mga boss, tanong sana ako... my mom fell sa hagdan namin, and wala namang immediate na pain na naramdaman, except dun sa mismong pagbagsak niya. medyo nagkapasa sa likod, pero after a week, medyo may pagkakataon na she's experiencing lower back pains. di naman consistent yung pain, pero nung nagpa-x-ray kami, the impression suggested: minimal hypertropic spurs are seen along the endplates of L3, L4 and L5there is minimal posterior displacement of the L5 over S1no apparent break seen in the articulating processesjoint spaces are intacttwo small noducalcific densities are seen in the right upper quadrant impression:grade 1 retrolisthesis, l5-s1 wilth mild osteodegenerative changesnodular calcific densities, right upper quadrant, consider gallstones nagpa-ultrasound na kami, and results show gallstones nga daw, sabi ng radiologist. may self-treatment po ba dito sa gallstones? and dun sana sa grade 1 retrolisthesis, is there anyway may maisasuggest din po na self-treatment? salamat po in advance. anarkista
self-treatment sana ang hinahanap ko sa ngayon, because alam naman po natin na ang hirap ng buhay ngayon, and bagamat ayaw kong tipirin ang ganitong mga bagay, mahirap talaga given my current financial condition. Quote Link to comment

IMHO sir with respect to our ortho docs..retrolisthesis is yung displacement or pagurong ng alignment ng mga vertebral bodies..since retrolisthesis yung sa mom mo is patalikod yung displacement...this may cause discomfort or pains na nararamdaman na nga mom mo..good thing na intact yung spaces ng mga vertebral bodies meaning walang naiipit na part ng spinal cord or any rami/galamay ng nerves.. yung mga spurs naman it suggest degeneration ng mga bones seen in old patients..so i think mejo may edad na din ang mom mo..the best thing to do is have your mom checked with an ortho doc para at least madocument yung mga symptoms nya as of now..and you should watch out for any progression of the pain or kung magkakaroon ng numbness..and also kung magkakaroon ng changess sa bowel movements or pag urinate.... as for the gallstones..it is usually an incidentaloma or accidental finding sa mga radiographic exam like what happened to your mom...your mom may deny any symptoms as of now since the stones may be stable or nde sha nag cause ng obstruction or pagbabara sa paglabas ng bile/apdo <produced sa gallbladder>. but once na magkasymptoms mom mo, it may warrant surgical intervention...and symptoms usually ng pagharang o pagbara ng stones is parang hyperacidity and dating..usually felt after eating meals especially if may oil content..but the pain may be spastic or parang may pumipiga...if so then she should see her surgeon for proper management. any corrections/reactions on my post are welcome Quote Link to comment

male_spud
self-treatment sana ang hinahanap ko sa ngayon, because alam naman po natin na ang hirap ng buhay ngayon, and bagamat ayaw kong tipirin ang ganitong mga bagay, mahirap talaga given my current financial condition. while i firmly believe that empowering the patient and having him/her involved in health care is very important... pet peeve ko talaga 'tong statement mo... kaya kasi natin magbudget para bumili ng computer, ipod, cellphone, psp, kotse, yosi etc... pero magbudget sa kalusugan? parating may rason ang pilipino na mahirap ang buhay ngayon... anyway, i have no right to judge you since i don't know your "current financial condition" ... the best person to get "self-treatment" from right now is a rehab med doctor who can teach you some exercises or back conditioning/strengthening movements to help take the load off your mother's lower back. mahirap na magsuggest ng exercises online because it will be very important for the doctor to see what the present physical conditioning of your mother is. you also didn't mention if your mom was overweight... the classic textbook case of a patient with gallstones is female, forty and above and fat. being overweight will also aggravate the degenerative bone changes and the slipping of the vertebral bodies on the lower back of your mother. if your mom is post-menopause, be sure that she also gets good calcium and vitamin d from her diet. anarkista
xwhiteshadowz, thank you very much sa assessment mo. my mom is indeed old na, turning 60 y/o this year. may napapansin akong progression sa pain niya. minsan e nagigising siya sa gabi for an hour because of back pains pero di naman consistent yung pain... at minsan, nasa mid-back niya, minsan naman e nasa lower back papuntang legs nuya. pero after a while nawawala. di nga niya alam kung may knalaman sa pagkahulog niya yun kasi dati e nararamdaman niya naman yun. with regard to the bowel movements at pag-urinate, wala namang problema. i am trying to look for an ortho na medyo affordable ang services/PF, and as soon as makakita, consult kami siguro. male_spud, maraming salamat din sa opinion po. pero bago lahat, although di mo natatanong, di naman po ako nagtitipid dito and nakukuha ko yung ibang gadgets na nabanggit mo. :-) i really am having problems sa finances namin ngayon because i am jobless for quite some time now, and my only source of income is some freelance stuff/gigs i am working on.. just enough to cover our day-to-day needs. i am trying my best to get a regular job na po. there. my mom is not overweight, but she is already a bit old, 59 y/o. i consulted a PT friend of mine and she suggested a few stretching exercises. i hope mag-improve na nararamdaman niya. salamat po sa mga tulong. and more opinion/suggestion/recomm will be appreciated po. easyhard
...nodular calcific densities, right upper quadrant, consider gallstonesnagpa-ultrasound na kami, and results show gallstones nga daw, sabi ng radiologist. may self-treatment po ba dito sa gallstones?and dun sana sa grade 1 retrolisthesis, is there anyway may maisasuggest din po na self-treatment? Having stones in the gallbladder per se is not a reason for an operation. I have had a good number of patients who have gallstones and did not undergo an operation. However, the risk for developing symptoms for an asymptomatic patient (such as your mom) is about 2 percent cumulative per year. If this is the case for your mom, watchful waiting can suffice. On the other hand, if your mom is already symptomatic to begin with, the risk for recurrence of symptoms gets higher and the risk for complications are higher. In this case, surgery is recommended. There are many other factors to consider but it might take too long to explain on this thread. You may PM me if you would like a surgical consult (discounted siyempre). I will be glad to help your mom. Quote Link to comment
