Almuranas in scientific lingo is hemorrhoids. Actually everyone has hemorrhoids. Some people have larger or inflammed hemorrhoids that makes it very painful or bleeds. Usually conservative treatment with diet and hot sitz bath does the trick to eliminate the symptoms. There are times that the symptoms are unrelieved by conservative treatment that surgical intervention is required.

 

Having an enlarged hemorrhoids does not mean you will not pass in your company's physical exam. Sometimes, agencies or employer's clinic refer you to a surgeon for advice, surgery or just clearance stating that your hemorrhoids will not affect you or your work. If the surgeon evaluates that you need not undergo any treatment, then you will pass the exam.

Any new break through or milestones sa GERD now Dr's.? Meron kasi akong chronic Gerd, heartburn sabi ng gastro. na dalawa na nag endoscopy sa akin from MMC and St. Luke antral gastritis daw, mga 20 yrs. kunang sakit ito at pabalik balik nalang sabi ng kamag anak ko na IM cronic deseased daw kasi ito kaya pabalik balik lang daw pwedeng ma control pero pag nakuntra na naman balik ulit at talagang ganun nga nararamdaman ko, ive been searching in every forum in the world regarding my case at halos lahat na forum na napuntahan ko wala nga akong nabasang gumaling kahit yong sinasabi nilang LAPAROSCOPIC NISSEN FUNDOPLICATION procedure sa US at UK good for 5-7 yrs. lang daw yong mga nakasubok bumabalik din yong GERD nila, is there any other procedure para ma get rid ang antral gastritis ko? i have seen online a hosppital in china that they are using herbal medicine that they can treat me and ive communicating with them for the past month and they are inviting me in china for medication pero di ako pumunta kasi nag dadalawang isip ako and stop communicating with them, sawa na ako sa nexium 40mg. at zantac 150/300mg. halos araw araw dati nong kalala ang heartburn ko kasi pag sinumpung ako dati halos di ako makalakad sa grabe ng heartburn ko kasi nagpapalpitate ako pag nag lalakad pero ngayon medyo na cocontrol ng nexium at zantac pero hangang don lang control lang at hindi gumagaling mga 20 yrs kunang sakit ito.

its really troublesome to have this kind of disease and the treatment by medications just alleviate the symptoms but not guaranteed cure.. fundoplication consist of wrapping a part of the stomach anthrum in the base of the esophagus to aid the lower esopahgela sphincter control the pressure..our surgeons may give more enlightment to this... i assume that the physicians already formulated a treatment plan for you.. this should always include diet and lifestyle modification like having regular meals and refraining in taking foods that may trigger the symptoms like spicy foods...caffeine may also trigger such together with smoking...certain drugs tend to increase the pressure in the LES and facilitates faster gastric emptying...our in house gastro may also enlighten us regarding the treatment option...complications may soon arise which may be life threatening in the future so as early as now a plan should be meticulously formulated with great compliance..just my two cents worth...

It could be a number of things and it would not be proper to even make a guess without a decent History and Physical Exam.

What I can tell you is that you are going in the right direction by seeing her OB

I agree with martinace1, it is very hard to make a diagnosis without History and Physical Examination. There are so many questions to be ask, presence of pain during the act? blood right after the act or during ? is it scanty or profuse ? and so on and so forth. Then she will undergo internal examination (IE), maybe pap smear and/or ultrasound.

@ abdullah- i also had/hav severe GERD,pro mas nging beter n xa compared to my then condition. vomitting,heartburn and all d stuff was my daily routine. it was even hard for me to sleep due to heartburn datz y laging mtaas ung unan ko if not pwede xa irecline. but when i started taking in nexium,ranitidine and maalox religiously, plus i controlled my eating habit( agree to xwhiteshadowz, no spices,no alcohol,no caffeine,no cigarettes,not even milk coz it has higher acid content), my health prob became better,nalessen ung sliples nyts,heartburn,hiccup and swelling of my esophagus. i constantly had my chek up with my gastro specialist,had me endoscopied for several times and gave me proper meds according to d severity of my GERD.and actually,endoscopy is just a away of knowing kng gaano kalaki damage.

 

sabi din nla(according to forums and to my doc,d daw curable ang GERD. d ko lng lam now kng my ndiscover na. even if u go through the operation,d rin daw guaranteed,dats y my frnd in d US who also has dis, did not pursue the operation. instead,nging disiplinado n lng xa s eating habits and prescriptions nya. ayon,umayos nmn xa,though every now and den bmbalik which is d maiwasan,especially s case nya.

 

and to add it up, look at me now, ang dating GERD patient for 3 yirs e nkakayosi n ule,alak and name it. pro with control nmn at pg nkakaramdam n kong aatake n nmn xa,inuman ko n agad ng maalox. payo lng,do not depend on wat advance science(operation or watnot) can promise u,depend on ur ability to control. nakz nkpgsalita ang taong nhhrapang mgcontrol! hahaha.

Actually ginagawa kurin mga yan na, pag iwas ng madaming kumain, maanghang, coffee, inom ng alak, gatas, mataas na unanat lahat na nababasa ko sa forum or research sa mga website etch, at mas matindi pag nalipasan ako ng kain... pero minsan nawawala din sya o na cocontrol ko at tumatagal din pero minsan pag masarap ang ulam at nakakalimot bawal pala yong maasim o maanghang at minsan di maka iwas sa barkada sa inom pag lumabas ang hirap magpaliwanag at paliwanagan sila minsan pipilitin ka talaga kahit isang bote lang... pero ngayon dina talaga ako pwedeng uminom ng alak kasi minsan lang na uminom ako ang tindi ng heartburn ko at tibok ng puso ko pag nakakalimot na bawal pala yon saka nalang ako magsisi pag medyo ramdam kuna ang heartburn at dina makahinga sa tindi ng heartburn ang hirap pa nito pag sinusumpong ang bilis ng palpitate ng puso ko parang malalagutan ako ng hininga at tumataas ang dugo ko yon ang nakaka takot minsan sa akin at madalas akong itakbo sa hospital dahil di ako makahinga na at parang malugatan ng hininga at pag di ako linagyan ng oxygen parang diko na kaya bro. ang tindi sa akin pag sumumpong, lately kulang napansin na bawal sa akin ang multi vita. pag nasubrahan ko tumataas ang dugo ko at pag nagsabay ng heartburn patay na, minsan nong nasa abroad ako akala ko mamatay na ako kasi ang taas na pala ng dugo ko sa kaka inum ng vitamins tapos sumompong pa ang heartburn ko pakiramdam ko noon dikuna kaya kasi ang bilis na ng pitik ng puso ko, bulol na ako at manhid na katawan ko, bumaluktot na mga daliri ko sa kamay buti umabot ako sa hospital at tinurukan ako ng pang pa lowblood at linagyan ng oxygen sa awa ng Diyos buhay pa ako hirap yata mamatay ang masamang damo... parang nabasa ko sa isang forum na dapat ma control ko ang sakit sa nerbiyos ko at high blood kasi yon ang papatay sa akin pag diko nagamot ang panic attack na sickness ko... may idea kaba sa LAPAROSCOPIC NISSEN FUNDOPLICATION yan daw ang ginagawa sa may GERD sa UK, canada at US kaso yong iba good for 3, 5 or 7 yrs lang daw ang maximum bumabalik ulit ang Gerd, sana may discover silang bagong paraan kung paano magamot ito kasi parusa sa akin talaga ito ang laki ng pinag bago ng lifestyle ko... parang heredity din kasi ito talagang mahina ang bitoka natin since ipananganak tayo at pag naabuso sa alak at mga bawal sa bitok natin lalabas ang sakit mo na GERD, parehas kami ng sakit ng lolo ko dati pero dipa alam ang sakit na GERD noong mga 80s at early 90s noong buhay pa sya mga maalox, tagamet, nuvalusid at kremil s palang ang gamot that time wala pa mga PPI at H2 blocker kaso sawang sawa na ako sa gamot sa kaka inom at kabibili na siguro min. sa 3k ang isang buwan sa pag maintain kulang sa akin ng PPI at h2 blocker pag malala 5k na siguro o pataas... sana may ma discover na bago para magamot na itong sakit ko, ikaw din and others.

well, i consulted a physician and instructed me to have a CBC but unfortunately i didnt, pinabalik ako ng 6am in the the following morning to have a CBC and until now hindi pa ako nakakakuha ng CBC because nagduduty ako ng gabi. she, the doctor prescribed me a pain reliever to somehow lessen the pain. is this concerned with uric acid? ive been eating peanuts, mushrooms and crabs and shrimps, monggo and togue, tokwa (syempre masarap po kase), then the following day, masakit na yung tuhod at paa ko. im a bit concerned with the pain kse active ako sa exercise, every tuesday and thursday of the week is athletic day so we have to get out of the office and take a jog or play basketball, so after the activity i feel pain on those areas that i had said..

ans: depende sa surgeon mo, pero madalas silicon implant puede din gortex mas mahal nga lang-doble ang presyo nito compare sa silicon. about the cartilage, kinukuha un sa ear or puede rin bone galing sa ribs. May mga pros and cons ang bawat gagamitin na materials.

6. hndi ba delikado humiga ng naka dapa maski matagal na?

 

ans : bawal lang dumapa during the healing period, also bawal galawin during this time. After a few months (6 mos or more) puede na humiga,tumuwad, etc....

7. forever na po ba iyong naka lagay or papalitan after ilang years?

 

ans : hindi naman forever un, siguro mga 20 or more years pag walang problema. sa patients ko 15 years pa lang ang pinakamatagal and still no problem( bata pa kasi ako eh LOL!!!!!!!)
