m@rky Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 i don't have a scorecard or anything nor do i claim to be a boxing analyst but just like any regular viewer i'm happy that pacman won. sure marquez might seem to have dominated most of the rounds but he was never able to knock manny down while he incurred one knock down (round 3) and to me i guess that was probably one factor that contributed to that controversial 1 point split decision victory. If Marquez had won, it wouldn't have been a convincing win either and he won't be able to say for sure that he dominated. The only problem with JMM and his coach Nacho Berestain is that they can't seem to take a lot of losses like men. Dati na itong team na to mareklamo pag talo. omega_jef Posted March 17, 2008 Share Posted March 17, 2008 the fight was very close, but i dont think marquez won that fight. pwede sya tumabla pero malaki dagdag ng KD di pacman sa round 3.i scored it 114-113 in favor of pacquiao. again, thanks to J-MC for sahring his RS account. i've been able to watch the replay clearly and the commentator is not pinoy.i think lederman scorecard is more accurate per rate, di lang din ako sumangyon na binigay nya kay pacman ang round 12 kaya naging 115-112 ang score nya. for me, it was 114-113 in favor of pacquiao. if you will notice, most of marquez punches were able to block by pacquiao. puro gloves and elbow lang tumatama. reachard Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 It was a long fight, I think it's a good decision that Manny won, because during the 1st fight as many of us thought that it shoud not be a draw and pacman should have won, On this fight if Pacman did not Knock Marquez on the 3rd round I think Marquez should have won the fight. But in the eyes of the judges Pacman won, so we should be proud with our fellow Filipino for winning the Championship Quote Link to comment
