Tried Globe- didn't like their Marketing Department- please see the Goobye Globe thread.

 

Using Sun with a back-up pre-paid Smart. :thumbsupsmiley:

 

As Globe has said they were getting rid of non profitable accounts- guess am one of them. :(

 

My Globe bills per month- P15,000! My Sun- P8,000 plus P150 smart back-up! Savings of almost half! :thumbsupsmiley: Can't blame the others who were not happy with Sun's signal. :( It does happed to me too once in a while. :( But am not happy with the way Globe treated me! :grr: BTW, after 6 months- Globe hasn't refunded my P320 over payment! :grr: Fantastic company Globe is! :grr: :grr:

Meron ako Globe, Meron din ako Smart. Pero Overall pinaka ok yung Smart. Yung Smart Mas ok kasi Updated ang bawas ng load mo(for prepaid user). Globe minsan nakakaloko. Example: Tumawag ka sa friend using Globe tpos after ng usap nyo check mo yung balance mo magugulat ka konti lng nabawas. So akala mo naloko mo globe na konti lng nabawas sayo. magugulat ka after an hour iba na balance mo. ksi hindi mabilis mag update ang system ng globe.(hindi ito palagi pero may times na ganun) Sa AutoloadMax(Globe) naman ang gulo ng service. minsan hindi ka pde makagpaload. laging down yung service.

 

Sa Smart Nagkakaproblema din sa E-load pero minsan lng as minsan lng. Sa celcard naman once may bumili sa amin ng card invalid daw yung pin. nung ni load ko ng gabi pumasok na. pero once lng nman nangyari ito.

 

Paalala sa mga sumasali sa mga Promo whether Globe or Smart: Basahin nyo yung mga nakasulat pag mag aavail kayo ng mga wallpaper, ringtones, artista features(sana wala nagaavail nung artista feature ksi niloloko nyo sarili nyo), etc..............

 

Jan nauubos yung load nyo once sumali kayo ksi once nag "YES" kayo jan hindi lang isang araw yan or isang message yan. One week package yan or One month. kaya basahin nyo yung message ng maayos. Akala nyo minsan bakit nababawasan load nyo kahit hindi nman kayo tumawag or nagtex. try nyo ire-call kung may sinalihan kayo na promo.

Regardin naman sa Sun. Pag may syota ka maganda ang sun. pero pag importante ang trabaho mo wag ka mag sun. hirap naman may ka business deal ka tapos every 15minutes napuputol. Mura talaga Sun pero Mumurahin mo rin service. Ganun talaga pag mura lalo na pag sa communication.

It's true that Sun does have a cut-off of 15 minutes. But remember the adage- "a few words well spoken delivers the maximum effect". The only way that you need to speak more than 15 mintues then get to the nearest landline. I feel "unwise" to use up more than that time to clarify something or to give instructions. It would mean bigger bills.

 

Without the excessive bills perhaps, I don't need to have other sidelines? Heh-heh!

 

It's not necessary a proof that Globe doesn't give out payments to NPA that's why their towers are getting blown to bits.

 

The NPAs do not announce that such destruction was their own making, did they?

 

Perhaps, the bombings and destruction were done by disgruntled employees or even former subscribers? It could be easily be blamed upon competition too!

ngayon gamit ko sun but before smart gamit ko...since i have a gf sun na gamit ko because of their unlimited call & text. Sulit naman kaso minsan talagang badtrip especially pag rush hours and at night. Bad trip din pag walang signal...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  :angry:

 

Ay totoo yan! AGREE! Pero they did improve a lot than a few months back. Sana they'll continue to improve before my contract with their service ends. <_<

 

Antonio Cojuanco, former CEO of PLDT and concurrent bigwig at ABC channed 5 has announce that they will also go into cellphone service soon! The more competition the better for us the consumers. :thumbsupsmiley:

Rounding up in this case 6 seconds is known to be pulse system. That's commonly the way the foreign telecom charge. Come to think about it- that's the way they should charge local calls too! <_<

 

That's why the local telecoms such as Smart and Globe makes a ton of money by rounding up to the minute! :thumbsdownsmiley:

 

They can easily beat Sun's 24/7 by changing they way they charge from rounding off per minute to pulse system. Just think of the savings it will generate their subscribers! :)

 

This was discussed during a senate hearing. But did the telecom companies relent? Nope! Guess they're just plain GREEDY! :grr:

 

At least sa Smart, they make it up by changing their subscribers' cell in every 1 1/2 years before the subscription ends. Eh sa Globe? You won't notice any promotional gimmicks because they won't tell you that one exist. You'll find it out when the promo expires! Galing talaga ang Globe! PWEH! :sick:

 

By the way, it's my 10th month anniversary since I cancelled ALL my cell phone service with Globe! And it's been 10 months, they haven't given me my refund for my over payment of P320! :grr: :grr:

Kastilla kasi may ari ng globe. Ganun talaga magnegosyo ang kastilla. Dati mas magaling yun globe nung bago lang sila pero nalagpasan na sila ng smart. mas marami subscriber ang smart ngayon kaysa globe. Mas maganda pag chinese may ari ng telecommunication mas magaling humawak ng negosyo.

 

Mahirap din magplan sobrang mahassle marami hidden charges.

 

tingnan nyo sun chinese may ari. galing d b. pero hindi ako gumagamit ng sun. pag may ka relationship na lng ulit. utak ng sun ksi pag may sun syota mo sigurado na mag susun ka din. eh kung tatlo fling mo eh d sun lahat yun.

 

dalawa cel ko smart and globe. yung globe minsan ko lng loadan. yung smart palagi.
