floppydrive
Just in case you guys are interested in squeezing a quickie to HKDL, CX will be offering a Day-Trip special (leave as early as 7am and return as late as 10pm) at USD165 for adults and USD 125 for children for the month of November.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Nice concept! Just like taking a day trip to subic! Quote Link to comment
sliderule
I have no solid basis for my opinion, it's just a hunch. I think the HK park is not 100% operational yet, hence I wouldn't be surprised if a significant number of attractions have yet to open. I don't think they can get everything up and running at the same time, and it wouldn't make sense from a commercial view to defer the opening until such time everything is ready, considering the expected rush of tourists after the "opening". So my suggestion is to defer any planned trips to HK Disney. I'd say 3rdQ 2006 would be a better option. Teka, baka rainy season yun ah. Siguro 4Q na lang para added bonus na malamig. Just an opinion. Quote Link to comment

If I am not mistakened, that's why all the HKDL packages only offer one night in HKDL (and other nights in other hotels) and a day pass because all you need is a day to get on all the operational rides I am told that anywhere starting June 2006 would be a pretty good time to go. Lipstick
Nice concept! Just like taking a day trip to subic!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yup! It's an interesting way to visit HKDL if all you are after is to get on the operational rides and have a look-see. My daughters have been bugging me to take them on the daytrip since that's all they want to go to Hong Kong for  Quote Link to comment
THUG
Has anyone been to Hongkong Disneyland.. this is great since we don't have to travel to tokyo or the US to see disneyland and experience the rides.. what is in Disneyland by the way? How much all in all do 1 person need to shell out to go to hongkong disneyland for 2 days/1 night? Is 15K inclusive of airfare, hotel, pocket money enough? Quote Link to comment

Spurt
been there after the opening, last week ng september. sobrang haba ng pila sa rides, sa food, kahit sa cr. sabi nila, 40% pa lang ng rides ang complete. suggestion: go there after one year. Quote Link to comment
Anaheim
I was at HK Disneyland December 25, 2005 http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c263/HKDisney0001/cybershot2043bb.jpg yup, the size of HK Disneyland is only 1/3 of the size of Disneyland in Anaheim, California. I've been to Disneyland ANAHEIM hence the name of my handle. Comparing HK Disneyland to Disneyland Anaheim, there are lots of attraction NOT found in HK Disneyland such as the Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Mark Twain's Steamboat, Monorail, It's a Small World, Star Tours, Indiana Jones Adventure, Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. What's inside HK Disneyland is the Fantasy Garden (called Toon Town in Anaheim) where you get to have your photos taken with Disney characters, Space Mountain, Mickey's Phillar 3D Magic (found in Disney World in Orlando, Florida), Festival of the Lion King (also seen in Orlando), Golden Mickeys (seen in Orlando), Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, Jungle River Cruise, Mad Tea Cup ride, Dumbo the elephant ride. Tarzan treehouse, River Raft ride, Winnie the Pooh ride. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c263/HKDisney0001/cybershot2060a.jpg IMHO, although HK disneyland is just about 1/3 the size of Disneyland in Anaheim, you can still feel the magic and the wonder of this magical place. parang Enchanted Kingdom? I don't think so...ang lakas ng appeal ng mga Disney characters for children and adults like me. sa Enchanted Kingdom nakatunganga ka lang habang pinapanuod mo yung fireworks, at HK disneyland , the disney music themes are synchronized with the magical fireworks which makes it all the more spectacular. sa fireworks na lang sulit na sulit na ang binayad mo sa HK disneyland. PAL nga pla ang airline. why not 3 days/2nights ka na lang? parang di ata worth it kung punta ka dun overnight lang Sa 400USD nga pla wala pa dun yugn pocket money ko. Quote Link to comment
mc_darklight
so ano mas ok tokyo or hongkong disneyland? Quote Link to comment
Anaheim
so ano mas ok tokyo or hongkong disneyland?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> mas okay ang tokyo disneyland siyempre....sa tokyo disneyland merong Disney Sea (another disney theme park sa tapat ng Tokyo Disneyland). As i have said, HK Disneyland is the smallest of all the FIVE disneylands. but doesn't mean HK disneyland is the least...like all disneyland...you'll have a magical fun time at HK disneyland. eto pa personal photo ko http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c263/HKDisney0001/cybershot2063a.jpg kapag nakapunta na kayo ng HK Disneyland para na rin kayong nakarating ng Disneyland sa Anaheim, California. Halos pareho yung structural design and the map eto, pagpasok mo sa Sleeping Beauty castle, just turn right 'way to Tomorrowland' makikita nyo rin itong 'Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs grotto' katulid din sa Anaheim http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f173/HKDisney0002/cybershot2069.jpg ang pinagtataka ko kung bakit maduming tignan yung tubig sa may Sleeping Beauty castle sa HK Dsineyland. Sa Disneyland Anaheim kasi...the color of the water is crystal blue...sobrang linis ng itsura at merong mga ducks na nag swi swim. sa HK disneyland walang duck at kulay putik ang tubig. eto, tignan nyo http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f173/HKDisney0002/PDVD_004.jpg Quote Link to comment
zipzamzowee
Bummer! I was in HKG last year and the park was still not finished. Am definitely going to be visiting this park soon anytime this year. I haven't been to Disney in Anaheim but I have been to Disneyworld in Orlando Florida, which is a huge place. Could anybody compare the size and attractions of the HKG park to Orlando's? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
