joveyb
Hi Honda Experts, I need some help! I bought my Honda Civic 2.0 two years ago. I am thinking of changing to the latest model but something is wrong with my present 2.0 thatmakes me wonder whether I should stick with Honda. You see the problem arose when I brought the car out of town. The road has some bumpy stretches and there was once I hit a bump quite hard but honestlyI felt it should have no ill effect on the car because the bump wasn't that bad. Because the journey involved going uphill and downhill I used a lot of the brake. Then when returning and going downhill and as I was braking I felt the car wasshaking badly. It became so bad that the steering wheel was vibrating everytimeI brake. Before this trip I change my four tires but I did not go for wheel balancing or car alingement.Immediately after the trip I sent the car for wheel balancing and car alingement and evenchange a brand new brake pad thinking the problem has to do with wheel balancing and car alingement and thin brake pad. But to my surpirse the problem persists. Whenever I brake,I felt the car very different and even especially at fast speed the steering wheel starts to jerk.I let a lady drove my car and she immediately told me my car is wobbling especially at high speed. I sent the car to Honda because it was under warranty. But everytime I sent and complain theygave the excuse it is the new tires. But I felt that there is more to it. Three times they said they did the wheelbalancing and three times my car was not fixed by Honda. I became irritated and told them thatI am willing to change my entire four tires but if the problem still persists I would be very angry withthem because why should I spend so much money when the problem is not with the tires. I felt thatthere is something wrong with the suspension or something has broken and they are not willing to changeit because it is expensive and I don't have to pay because my car is still under warranty. Can some kind Honda expert gives me some analysis as to the real problem of my car so that I can deal with those Honda personnel with some knowledge. I appreicate your assistance Quote Link to comment

I appreicate your assistance Pina check mo na ba Ball Joints and CV joints mo? Sa steering nalimutan ko lang yung tawag dun may parang letter V na plastic like connector papunta sa tie rods mo. Patingnan mo rin yun. I do use a Civic and always got to Sampaloc and Mauban Quezon na off road to rough road na 40 km so yun ang mga nasisira sa akin. Naglagay din ako ng lifter para hindi ako sumayad. So far I'm doing 180 kph walang kalog. Go to any gas station na may lifter then pag angat kalugin mo front wheels mo orbital direction habang naka lock ang steering mo. Use umbrela lock manghiram ka na lang kabit mo sa clutch at steering then kalugin mo and you will see the problem. Quote Link to comment
