asagi
I ain't a CR-V owner but my friend asked me to drive his '00 CR-V. He's complaining that I drive too slow than he expected then soon afterwards, he was surprised I was able to muster 8.5km/l despite the heavy traffic in Edsa.Iba talaga pag manual I have a '99 CRV automatic and my typical fuel consumption is only about 6 kms/ltr for the usual city driving. Is this typical for this model? Do any of you have any suggestions on how to make it more fuel efficient? I know the car is getting old but its still in A-1 condition and its hard to dispose because it was a gift to me from my wife. Quote Link to comment
blueagle
Guys, I think are older models of CRV's really consume a lot of gas. City driving for me in my 2003 CRV 4x2 is about 5-6 kms/liter. Quote Link to comment
noypi^
normal lang yan, i used to get 6-7km/L city and 9-10km/L hway Quote Link to comment

G.I.
planning to buy 99 crv but i've heard mabigat sa maintenance, is this true? please help!!! Quote Link to comment
elijahpaul
this is a myth. hondas are generally very durable, and cheap aftermarket parts are widely available. hindi yan basta basta masisira depende na lang on how you take care of it. i suggest you get your favorite mechanic or tinker with the vehicle yourself before you buy it. id6230
that's great! usually, company cars are casa maintained. good luck. I agree with this. Company cars are mostly casa maintained kaya good buys yan. But of course, it is always good to have a qualified mechanic check the car thoroughly before buying. Quote Link to comment

Mickey888
I also heard from the service technicians in Honda Alabang that they cost less to maintain due to less frequent and cheaper checkups. Anyone here has an idea about its gas consumption? My mom's CR-V does about 8/9 to a liter. (automatic) Quote Link to comment
