Geography and several other factors should play a big role in your condo vs. family-home decision.
If you live in such property-constrained markets, condos are the home of choice for many urban dwellers, and the good units are always in high demand. But in many other metro areas, the number of traditional homes dwarfs the number of condo units. And, when it's time to sell, you'll likely find potential buyers of traditional homes will dwarf the number looking for condos.
Lifestyle is another issue.
If having a family isn't in the offing for you and you'd like to simplify your existence while minimizing time spent on yard work and other maintenance, a condo could be for you. But those fees you pay go toward the day-to-day upkeep of common areas such as swimming pools, tennis courts, exercise rooms, courtyards, clubhouses, storage areas, parking lots, hallways, etc. You have to decide if you'll use those amenities you're paying to support, if they're worth the money and whether you could pay the same fees or less to look after your family house in the burbs.
If you plan to go the condo route, do your homework thoroughly. If the condo complex needs a lot of work, the condo board (which is made up of residents such as you) may stick you with an extra assessment at some point in the year if it can't fully cover major maintenance problems.
Talk with residents, including a condo-board member, if possible. Ask about the association's budget and reserve fund and whether the majority of the complex's maintenance liabilities are funded. Find out about recent capital improvements or plans for future ones. Ask whether some or all utilities are included in the fees.
And make sure the condo covenants don't restrict your freedoms. Get a really good idea of who lives at the complex. Like in an apartment, your solitude may only be as good as the quality of your neighbor.
Condos can also be volatile in pricing. New ones stand to gain in value more quickly but may also lose value more quickly if the surrounding community doesn't develop like owners thought. Existing ones are a little more stable. But note: There were a few years, since 1990, in which condos actually lost value nationally, but there were no years when family homes lost value.
Some of the fastest appreciating condo units are located in so-called New Urban areas of a city where residents have access to restaurants, nightclubs, light-rail transit and other street-level amenities.
A compromise may be a stand-alone "zero-lot-line home" or a townhome, which will probably have a minimal yard and a neighborhood association that handles maintenance. These have become increasingly popular among young professionals and medium to high-earning parents.

Guiding principle for HS: You will usually be told what to do and corrected if your behavior is out of line. Guiding principle in College: You are expected to take responsibility for what you do and don't do, as well as for the consequences of your decisions.
Teachers approach you if they believe you need assistance. Professors are usually open and helpful, but most expect you to initiate contact if you need assistance.
High school is a teaching environment in which you acquire facts and skills.College is a learning environment in which you take responsibility for thinking through and applying what you have learned.
High School- teenage life; College- pre adulthood
High School- fundamentals; College- maturity

Further, the Gilas long-timers expressed apprehension as their exposure would surely be decimated. They will be relegated as 2nd to 3rd stringers. They initially believe that the inclusion of Fil-Ams (Lassiter and Lutz)was the last movement on the part of the coaching staff to modify/fine tune the team.Medyo mababa morale ng mga 'originals.' JV Casio expressed his thoughts in tody's sports news.

YOUR CHILDREN MAY BE EXPOSED TO 'PREDATORS'
If a stranger wanted to enter your child’s bedroom, would you allow it? Your answer would definitely be no. However, that is not the case with the social networking site Facebook. Here, you have no control on who enters your child’s ‘bedroom’. In fact, once they are inside, you have no idea of what can take place. Being aware of your child’s Facebook habits and who they associate with is essential for combating Facebook predators.
With two clicks of a mouse and a charming ‘hello’, a predator can enter your home and be friendly with your child over Facebook. There are many cases where a predator has befriended someone on Facebook, and then tried to meet them outside the Internet. These types of encounters don’t always end in a tragedy, however, the ones that do, could have been prevented. It is important to ask your child who they are chatting with and who they have as “friends”. By knowing this type of information you get involved in their online lives- after all, you are their first and last line of defense.
In more recent years, many embarrassing photos and videos have leaked on the Internet. The part that is really understated here is that online images tend to live forever. If your child is either accidentally or purposely involved in such media, the final result can be devastating to their social life. By being involved in your child’s Facebook habits, you can find out what it is that they are transmitting over the Internet. By preventing a dumb decision today, you are clearing an embarrassment free path towards their future.
It is important to know that there are steps you can take in protecting your child from Facebook predators. The first is to educate your child on the dangers of posting photos. It would be wise for you to encourage your child to post photos of something that resembles them, but not pictures of themselves. Additionally, you should control their Facebook pages by having access to the page. Lastly, you should be aware that social networking sites are time consuming and they may take your child away from important school work or family functions.
Being involved in your child’s Facebooking habits takes minutes, and by doing so you can help your child steer clear from predators or from being bullied online. Perhaps you too should open up a Facebook page and befriend your child- this way you can see how easy it is for a predator to do the same.

Chicken “Inasal” or Chicken Barbecue marinated with a local coconut vinegar, widely known in our place as “langgaw”, “bisaya nga langgaw” or “langgaw sa tuba”. This special vinegar started as wine taken from coconut and fermented for over a month till the sweetness would turned into sour. The other ingredient is chicken oil which is made of bright red color oil because it is sautéed with garlic and “atsuete.” This food is best eated with “sinamak” (langgaw with fresh garlic, union and chili). While “kansi” is the Ilonggo versio of “bulalo” or beef soup but we usually use “batwan” fruit to make the dish sour.

Bottom line is, no matter what happens, Pinoys should never stop believing in our National Team that they can bring home the gold in the Asiad, win the Asian championships and finally make it to the Olympics. We may not achieve it sooner but at least our leaders are doing something about it, and I think we're headed in the right direction as far as developing our young talents (with just a few exceptions though).
Very well said!!!

Adequately feeding your immune system boosts its fighting power. Immune boosters work in many ways. They increase the number of white cells in the immune system army, train them to fight better, and help them form an overall better battle plan. Boosters also help to eliminate the deadwood in the army, substances that drag the body down. Here are the top eight nutrients to add to your family's diet to cut down on days missed from work and school because of illness.

I still vividly remember when I was a college, there was this professor who still did the roll call. Thus, kapag papunta na ng letter M, the class can't hide their giggles and laughs in anticipation of the succession, to wit:
...Macasieb...Macaspac...Macataul...Manegdeg
I tell you pati professor nangingiti! Ha Ha Ha!!!
