  1. take brunch and dinner only for the day.

do a lot of sit-ups and crunches. as plenty as you can.

    worst advice ever.

    a couple of facts:

sit-up world record holder Mark Pfeltz, who completed 45'005 sit-ups in 58.5 hours was not exactly ripped. in fact, he had no visible "six-pack." his belly fat actually rolled in front of him whenever he completed a sit-up. lesson: spot reduction is bullcrap. visible abdominal muscles are a result of low body fat, not abdominal strength.

not eating for 4 hours puts your body into "starvation mode," a survival instinct where your body recognizes the shortage of food, drastically lowering your metabolism. in other words, "fat storing mode." lesson: if you want to burn more calories and more body fat to look lean, what the hell are you doing starving?

sadly, only a few people comprehend the word "diet." most still associate it with not eating and starvation.

apparently, this guy does not eat:

if your goal is to achieve a similar physique, then i have no right to interfere with your business. each one to his own.

  2. All in one sitting

maximum reps of regular push ups, 2x with one minute rest in between

maximum reps of wide push ups, 2x, with one minute rest in between

maximum reps of tricep push ups, 2x, with one minute rest in between

    pyramid pull ups, till maximum. ex. max pull ups of 5, do 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 rest then do the reverse, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1

do regular grip and reverse grip

regular crunches, 50 x 2 one minute rest in between (same with below excercises)

    reverse crunches, 50 x 2

    left side crunches, 50 x 2

    right side crunches, 50 x 2

    upper body stretches.

i suggest full situps. crunches are gay. (unless they're bicycle crunches or body crunches)

  3. Dieting is bad, bababa metabolism mo mas masama effect if your BMR (basal metabolic rate) goes down kasi hihina fat burning abilities ng body mo. so if youve reached your desired body weight thru dieting its effect is much worse kasi onting kain mo lang mas mahihirapan body mo i burn what you've eaten. exercise lang its the right way to go.

diet = starvation. common knowledge, yet severely flawed.

eat only twice a day, brunch and dinner, and plenty of liquids...;-)

by the way, i eat nine times a day. that is my DIET.

  4. nag colapse nko dhil sa DIET n ito.. forgot to eat pala haha,, sbi doctor need to eat sweets raw bfore doing an exercise hmmm.... :hypocritesmiley:

  5. Terrible in a way hehe but effective (consumes more calories)

not really. you actually eat more when you deprive yourself of sleep. and you compensate muscle recovery, as muscles burn about half their weight in fat per month at rest.

  6. i personally think that weight loss should exclusively be for people who compete in weight classes (or for gambling). weight is never an indicator of fitness. body fat percentage is a better measure, though not easily accessible.

  7. oops!

sken kasi milk yung nagbalik ng weight ko when I lost some dahil sa puyat

hahaha. terrible approach to weight loss, sleep deprivation. the SEAL and Ranger approach.

  8. Any ideas on the most "all-in-one" exercise move that one can do without gym equipment? By "all-in-one," I mean a move that can work a lot of muscle groups with just one rep. (Para sa mga walang oras na mag-gym?)

    try backreading, boss.

  9. bananas. i always carry bananas during a hardcore workout or a competition. also a lil meal about 1 and a half hours before a workout.

me too. conveniently packed, easy to digest, and a good source of carbohydrates. rickson gracie eats almost immediately before the competition.
