    guys, here's a news i think might find interest for bgk fans...

     

    blind item: May PBA player, nagexpire na contract sa team niya. Nakita ng fan sa isang pasyalan, nilapitan at nagpa autograph.. Nilagay nito name niya, jersey#35, at team bgk..

     

    this player was later revealed na si kerby raymundo.. if this is true, then good help sa team.

     

    this blind item turned out to be a bogus after all...

    Correct Master. But, I must admit that Arwind's game is still very slow compared to Kelly who plays with so much athleticism. Mahaba lang galamay ni Arwind.

     

    he may be that slower, but i respect arwind's shooting better than kelly...

    what if ganito mangyari... possible top 5 picks POWERADE picks casio (they're vocal about this), ROS picks lee (they need star point), AIR21 picks lassiter (he is as good as a 1st pick), POWERADE picks baracael (again, they're vocal about this), SHOPINAS picks lutz (talentwise, next best thing available). so that leaves alaska with option on ballesteros and barroca.

     

    alaska doesn't need another center coz they have 4 big men. they also don't need point guard as they now have 4 point guards. what if alaska opts to trade their pick (possible ballesteros) to BGK for intal (they now have canaleta in place of intal's spot). would you agree to this?

    i think it's just unfair for the azkals na dahil natalo sila sa kuwait eh ititigil na ang program..

     

    if we think na wala silang patutunguhan, mas lalong walang patutunguhan ang basketball team natin competing against other countries. aminin man natin o hindi, dito palang sa asia na-outclassed na tayo ng ibang country. pano pa sa olympics?

     

    besides, again in basketball.. nung 90's nasaan ba ang IRAN and JORDAN team? diba PHI, CHI, KOR and sinasabing malakas noon. pero dahil sa patuloy na pagsasanay ng mga HILAW na iranians at jordanians noon, ngayon isa na sila sa powerhouse teams (may mga players pa sila ngayon playing in the NBA).

     

    atleast sa football hindi kailangan ng height, ang kailangan skills... i just believe na dapat lahat ng sports ay pagtuunan natin ng pansin para makita kung saan tayo pwede mag excel.

    Well, not necessarily. Since this is thr BGK thread, I guess we do have the right to disagree.

     

    First: Liability? Since when has a guy who has been ranked third in the MVP race a liability to the team?

     

    Second: Since when has the team's leading scorer been a liability? That's not mentioning other stats such as assists and what not.

     

    Take Caguioa off the team and who will you replace him with? Sorry to say this, but no one is that consistent YET to replace him. Any team on the PBA will take Caguioa as a starter, or even a sixth man. So with these points, MC47 is NOT a liability.

     

    So... the only one I agree on is the coach. Everyone on this thread does, I guess.

     

     

    i have to agree with this one... yes, there was a time na parang liability na si caguioa sa team. but this year? caguioa, again became the team's mvp...

    STATEMENT FROM JV CASIO:

     

    My joining the DRAFT was my decision even before GILAS announced the program extension. I'm very grateful with my stint with the NATIONAL TEAM as ,u game really improved a lot and joining the DRAFT doesn't mean I'm turning my back as this will hone my talent even more. I'm also for unity between SBP, GILAS, and PBA in forming the best team every time there's an international competition to show that we're really the best in ASIA. So anytime my services will be needed by the NATIONAL TEAM... I'll always be very willing to join them. Right now my focus is with the team as we prepare for the FIBA ASIA which is really our goal as we look forward to making it to the OLYMPICS. Thanks everyone for the understanding and support!

    i heard from a grapevine that SMB got back Lordy after Barako Bull took a leave of absence from the league. Tugade, as they said, is on the reserve list. no confirmation of the veracity of this report though

     

     

     

    under contract pa daw pala si fajardo sa ABL

     

     

    nakapag sign na ba? hindi na ako updated eh.. pero last balita ko nililigawan parin ng SMB si Fajardo para sumali sa team... well, pano kung ligawan din siya ng smart gilas? saan kaya siya pupunta...

     

     

    when SMB signed up to join the ABL, they disclosed that Fajardo is one of the prospects they intend to sign. Well hopefully he'll be able to land with the BGK. Greg S. would not be bad too ...

     

     

    Greg Slaughter or Junmar Fajardo, kahit sino dun basta ang importante makuha ng AIR21 ang 1st pick next year... ;) ;) ;)

    Nagulat ako na ayaw nila kay Japeth Aguilar.

     

     

    ayaw kasi nila yung sinabi ni japeth na maglalaro siya sa gilas as long na si toroman parin ang coach.. parang pagmamando daw sa kanila yun na siya ang pumipili ng coach.. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    It's just a matter of getting a 50-50 share between the two fighters, and that would be it

     

    inalok na si mayweather ng 50-50, matagal na yan.. ayaw lang talaga.. may reason pa siyang magpapahinga muna ng 2 years tsaka lalaban uli at kung makakapaghintay daw si pacman lalabanan daw niya ito. pero after a few months ayun, may ibang nilabanan. tapos ngayon iba nanaman kalaban.. talagang iniiwasan si pacman. :lol: :lol: :lol:
