    i think nasa adjustment period pa sila sa ngayon.. and to think nawalan sila ng legit scorer in dondon.. kind of expected din yung nangyayari ngayon. nevertheless, the future is bright for smb.

     

    that's what they're investing, after all.

     

    after olsen racela retired, new coach, traded away seigle, pena, and hontiveros, changed its name to Petron... kulang nalang alisin na si ildefonso o ipagretiro, and it's a totally different team.. hindi na smb yan.

    Parang ang lalim ng rivalry ni Cabagnot saka ni Caguioa... siguro magkapatid sa labas yung mga yun... may hawig eh...

     

    caguioa and cabagnot came from the same school in US.. nung rookie si cabagnot, ininterview siya during pba games. sinabi niya na siya ang bumura sa lahat ng record na na-set ni mc47 sa school nila. tinanggi ito ni caguioa at sinabing tignan nalang nila pag naglaban ang team nila sa pba.

     

    1st meeting nila, overtime, si cabagnot ang gumawa.. panalo SLR noon at best player si cabagnot. nung ininterview si caguioa sinabi niyang pinagbigyan niya lang ung "bata" pero sa susunod na laban nila, hindi na niya ito pagbibigyan.. next meeting nila, nanalo BGK at si mc47 ang top scorer while single digit lang yata si cabagnot nun.

     

    since then may rivalry na ang dalawa.

    With the entry of JR Reyes at the Air 21, they became crowded in the shaded lane with Reyes, Baclao, Rabeh and Sharma. On the other hand, the departure of Buenafe left the team without a reliable 2-guard. Maybe the BGK maximize this opportunity to trade Miller for either of Baclao, Rabeh or even JR Reyes to solve their problem in height. It may be a win-win solution for both teams..

    after Barako filed leave of absence, and their players with existing contract to be placed on dispersal draft.. may chance kaya na kunin ng BGK si Marlou? he might be old, pero pwede niya turuan ng mga tactics si yancy.

    "there it goes we've lost the soul train & we retain the thriller but it was not for long because as they say the thriller is definitely on the trading block & his former coach showed interest on him..we better watch out..what's next for the thriller.."

     

    DANNY ESPIRITU: Ginebra mgmt wants me to talk to Miller and ask him if there is a problem. He hasn't taken my calls n the last 3 days.

    Pangalan pa lang 'di na impressive eh, bmeg kunin n'yo na nga 'yan hehe. Any other prospect? How about David Noel?

     

    6'4" lang max height ng import this confe... 6'6 yata si david noel kaya di siya pwede.. BGK's choices were cut down to 2.. one of them is TREMMELL DARDEN..

    exactly. mukha ngang di sanay na ibabad kasi si jayjay talaga ang inaasahan pagdating ng endgame. may balita na ba kung sino ang kukuning import?

     

    latest news sa BGK camp, di nakapasa sa BGK ung prospect import nilang si Joel Smith.. hindi daw impressive.. kaya hanap uli sila ng bago.. Joel Smith nag try out naman ngayon sa BMEG..

    Some trivias regarding coach ato agustin...

     

    1. He was part of the SMB team that won their 1st and only Grandslam title in the PBA.

    2. He was part of the Pampanga Dragons who won the first championship in the MBA.

    3. He was part of the Red Bull team when they got their first title in the PBA.

    4. He won a championship in his debut as the coach of San Sebastian Stags in the NCAA.

    5. He won a championship in his debut as a coach in Fil Oil Flying V Basketball Tournament.

    6. He won a championship in his debut as a coach in CHED Palaro.

    7. He won a championship in his debut as a coach of Excel Roof in the PBL.

    bakit di bigyan ng opportunity si cortez during crunch time? kahit hindi effective si jayjay, siya parin ang pinasok.. ilan beses ba siya nag attempt na hindi pumasok? hirap din siya bantayan si cabagnot..

     

    Ginebra won Game 5... and who's the highest pointer? Mike Cortez with 16 pts...

    'Yung kasing klase ng laro ni Cyrus mahirap bantayan as he can shooot, penetrate and create at malaki sana ang maitutulong n'ya sa SG kaso nga lang 'di man lang s'ya nasama sa list ni Toroman who opted for Sol Mercado

     

    plus, cyrus can even play point @ 6'2"... malaking bagay din un kung malaki ang point guard ng kabilang team para sa match up..

    the team might include sol mercado in their line up... PBA and ROS ok'd mercado to reinforce smart gilas, though may problem pa sa accreditation ng Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Comittee. Although Smart gilas' 12-man lineup were named..
