  1. Comrades we have enough laws in the country. I think the biggest challenge is enforcing the law.

One of the biggest examples is the Supreme Court decision affirming the Court  of Appeals ruling that the Marcos Estate has  to pay P 203 B on estate taxes. This was handed down on 29 November 1994 with finality.

TWENTY SEVEN YEARS HAVE PASSED and nothing has been done about it.

comrades the alternative news sites pander or customize their content to appeal to its readers. (Hindi gaya ng ibang mainstream media ( rappler / inquirer /abs cbn /gma ) which follow the strict rules/ ethics  of journalism .)  So they can freely post half truths and outright lies most of which are taken as the TRUTH by most Filipinos.

For certain media like SMNI, Manila Times , People's Journal look at their ownership structure . The Villars bought the TV frequency of ABS CBN and they are known allies of Marcis Junior. So you know to expect.

PDEA seizes more than P27 million 'shabu' in Cavite | Inquirer News

LUCENA CITY — About four kilos of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth at least P27.6 million have been confiscated from a woman in Trece Martires City in Cavite province during a “controlled delivery operation,” the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Wednesday.

A report from PDEA showed that a shipment from India arrived at the Port of Clark on April 9. After some observation, authorities believed that an illegal substance was concealed in a motorcycle sprocket box. This prompted anti-drug agents to launch a controlled delivery operation in Cavite on Tuesday night.

The package was brought to Trece Martires City by a composite team from the PDEA-Regional Office (PDEA-RO) III with the Pampanga provincial office as the lead unit; PDEA RO IV-A; Drug Interdiction Task Group-Bureau of Custom, Port of Clark; PDEA-Cavite and Trece Martires police.

Around 8 p.m. at the drop-off point, operatives arrested the package’s woman-claimant identified as Lionela dela Cruz, of Barangay Aguado, according to the Calabarzon police’s report.

The PDEA defined on its website controlled delivery operation as “a technique used when a consignment of illicit drugs is detected and allowed to go forward under the control and surveillance of law enforcement officers to secure evidence against the organizers of such illicit drug traffic.”

Investigation regarding the source and supplier of the drugs is ongoing. PDEA said the suspect will be charged with violation of Section 4 (Importation of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Comrades do you think the drug trade will flourish with protection from certain government authorities ? With this bust will we be happy with the amounts seized ?

As with all drug busts ,the bigger questions "Who is behind this ? " and  " Who is protecting them ? " remains unanswered . As long as these areleft to lie , the drug problem in the country will remain unabated .

  4. comrades ... speaking to all regardless of political color :

    4) The rule of law : Susunod at tutupdin kaya niya ang batas and let justice take its course ? Or susundin niya ang pagpapawalang halaga sa batas ?

Tandaan lang po  nasabi na ng kanyang inang si IMelda Marcos sa height ng kanilang political dominance noong martial law na   " What are WE IN POWER FOR "?

Binoto at nanalo. Wag lang sana tayong magpaGAGO.

Anak ng tipaklong.  Where do I begin?  Mga style Thinking Pinoy to.  Jumbled up words that seem to appear legitimate.  Pinaghalo ang facts and fiction para makauto.  May pa name drop pa ng institutions like SGV and CNN to have a semblance of credibility.  Galawang troll.

    1.  Debt has been around even before the removal of the gold standard.  If you are referring to the escalation of money printing, then I agree.  Everything else is BS.

    2. It is idiotic that a US president would be the one offering this.  You have to be braindead to believe this.  Most of the debts were with multilateral organizations so a US President cannot represent all the debts.  Cory had an impossible  choice of a debt moratorium or a restructuring.  The problems left her by a greedy family (which you clearly acknowledge).  She feared that reneging on the debt would completely destroy our creditworthiness for generations.  So she opted for restructuring.  And she surely consulted multiple groups.

Dont name drop SGV.  WTF does an audit group know about debt restructuring?  Their financial advisory practice at that point wasnt even developed.   SGV is a great firm but let's be real here.  They've had crappy audits like the P2 billion debt they missed in PLDT decades ago.

    3.  That last spiel on the real estate bubble.  I cannot potah lol.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how a propaganda machinery convinced millions of people that their thievery of US10 billion dollars over 21 years wasnt so bad.  Because hey, if a holdupper left you a few bucks so you can get home makes him a saint, despite pocketing the rest of your belongings.

Hahahahahaha. You nailed it comrade ! + 1 sayo

While I don't see anything wrong with their recommendations, It would be prudent to also check others.

While JP Morgan can be considered a Whale in the Market, is JP Morgan the only whale? There are hundreds if not Thousands that are as capable as JP Morgan so I think it would be also Ideal to check their sentiments as well.

Disregarding JPM is up to you. What I did was took their content with a grain of salt and not like a bible.

hi comrade. truly well said. Am waiting for the other investment houses to put in their two cents . Lets help each other in updates. 🙂

    dear bongbong.

    ok.. you won.

but watch your back. you know damn well sara is your ally only during the elections. the senate is also still loyal to her father. and the congress is still gloria's playground.

im not expecting more than 5years of presidency from you. either we shift to parliamentary or you get booted.

    see you.

comrade duterte's political capital has been diminished. Marcos Junior will consolidate power and it is HIS agenda and not the duterte's that will be carried. I anticipate that Sara will be marginalized as the Marcos'es will not allow anyone to have due influence on the government. Ano ba ang power base ni Sara ?

Oo may iilang congressmen and senators beholden to her and her father's but the Marcos have more allies in either chamber.

Yung kasunduan nila ni Marcos Jr. before the elections ? Mawawalang bisa yan. Sara is a threat to the Marcos'es and mark my words sometime in the future maybe eliminated.

How heavy JP Morgan is invested in PH?

USD43.4 Million. As if they make a significant contribution to our economy? BTW, they invest in the companies of old oligarchs baka alam nila bababa performance LOL ...

    https://am.jpmorgan.com/content/dam/jpm-am-aem/asiapacific/hk/en/literature/fact-sheet/jpmorgan_philippine_e.pdf?fbclid=IwAR3_2hscpYXZRtvQvsjLBzYVq1gay52cH9FrBHF_xhuC96tBk29XAQykpbY

Comrade thank you for the reply. I think the point is not how much JPM invests but the effect their recos have on those  investing in the local market.

Maybe their small investment of USD 43.4 million reflects their  confidence in the country vs other countries. So for better perspective it may also be worthwhile to post JPM's  investments in other markets.

Should we disregard JPM is that the message you are saying ?  Most the points they have raised are pretty solid IMHO. If there is something worth discussing it maybe more useful to discuss those.

    Part of the link says:

J.P. Morgan did not mention Marcos’ name in the May 9 report that flagged rising risks from high public debt and surging inflation – factors it said would slow economic growth and hurt corporate profits.

It seems you may not fully understand market dynamics.

Unfortunately I don"t know who I'm talking to to clarify the issue  as he has chosen to hide under the cloak of anonymity. And hey comrade (whoever you are) if you're looking for the name Marcos I made in bold .You cant miss it.

    INVESTOR CONCERNS

In its Philippine Strategy Flash report, which was released before the May 9 polls, J.P. Morgan also listed investor concerns under a Marcos presidency based on feedback in the last 3 months.

    Investor concerns include:

    • potential for reassessing the administration's stance on major private sector business families based on past alignments or historical group positions on issues around the earlier Marcos regime
    • policy questions "given the candidate's lack of an articulated substantive economic platform" and his seemingly limited access for traditional media such as the pre-election debates and interviews
    • absence of meaningful track record as a government official
    • perception based on the legacy of Marcos Sr's regime

Philippine shares opened lower on Tuesday at the 6,632 level, down by 1.89 percent before climbing back and closing at the 6,720.93 level.

“We recommend selling in a possible post-election hope rally…Philippines equities face myriad challenges including twin deficits, higher inflation, slower government spending in the quarters after the election (transition pain), high public debt, risk of a valuation de rating  and potential earnings growth disappointment,” said JP Morgan.

“We expect re-opening benefits for the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth trajectory to wane next year and put strong pressure on the government to delver on capital outlay spending acceleration,” it added.
