  1. Trying to catch up to One Piece... wish me luck...
  2. Agreed. They'd only be more advanced if they avoided all the roadblocks that are holding back humanity from full cooperation, which is unlikely.
  3. Possibly. Using the trajectory of our technology and culture as a framework, a space-faring civilization would be able to assess our technology level, identify the gaps in detection, and land on earth without being detected.
  4. Fell asleep in class, teacher woke me up and started the 30 item quiz with ~14 minutes remaining, still passed. Lol.
  5. Kailangan? No. Hype lang? No. The airfryer has a great place in the kitchen if you get a proper model and follow the instructions (i.e. good spacing and no overloading), AND you regularly consume the food it cooks well. Favorite use: chicken nuggets and tenders, roast veggies, air-fried lechon kawali, salmon, french fries Big families: if you like it enough, get two or more. Do you need one? Only if you don't have anything else in the kitchen. Is clean-up annoying? It depends on what you cook and if you used proper preparation. Should you get one? Yes, as long as you regularly prepare food.
  6. It's a good sign that most commenters know that testosterone supplementation is recommended for certain medical cases only and has potential negative effects if used carelessly. Also, testosterone levels fluctuate throughout the day and across several days. So several tests are required for your doctor to understand your testosterone levels and what treatment is appropriate.
  7. Heattech is comfortable and provides good heat retention. Comfort is key because you wear it under your regular layer of clothes. Sometimes, it gets too hot and I go to the restroom to cool off. 10/10 would wear again.
  8. Also, honestly, if you're using coffee pods, you might as well use instant coffee. From the perspective of a coffee nerd, they're both processed, but pods are more wasteful and take up too much counter space.
  9. Home brewed coffee hack. Blender + medium roast coffee beans + French press from the mall. blend the beans in to a powder (yes, I know burr grinders are the coffee nerd's obsession, but it's really not a big deal), put in french press with hot water, stir, wait for 30-45 seconds, press down plunger, pour. take used coffee grounds and put them in soil as fertilizer/biomass.
  10. I've been using Orgain organic vegan protein powder. Easier on my digestive system than whey protein.
  11. It depends on your workout goals and routine. Protein repairs and sustains muscle. Creatine allows you to exert more energy during workouts and helps with muscle recovery. Both can be found in food, so if you eat a well balanced diet, you'll be fine with little to no supplementation. If you're not doing heavy workouts and you're not chasing gains or athletic performance, you can skip creatine with little concern. But creatine helps even moderate workouts if you workout regularly. So, yes, mas okay s'ya. Pero if you do light workouts or may budget concerns, you can skip creatine.
  12. Buying power lang talaga ang halaga niya, since it allows you to spend money you don't have right now. At kung mataas yung credit rating mo, it signals that you're trustworthy...to financial institutions that will be more willing to lend you more money, so buying power ulit. There are other benefits, but those are just tricks they use to get you to sign up. Credit card companies make money when you don't pay completely and on time, since this is when you're charged interest. They're hoping na ganahan kang gumasta at makalimot ka ng payment.
  13. Playstation, since they fixed all the problems I had with their controller (low tension sticks, weird trigger feel, and slightly awkward stick placement), and Xbox exclusives are going down in quality.
  14. If the great filters are self-destruction and the necessities for progress are cooperation, ethics are a likely common denominator of intergalactic civilizations, as posited through Star Trek. If advanced civilizations are destructive and war like, they'd basically be like space Hitler or space Genghis Khan. But violence begets violence and therefore opposition, so these species are more likely to self-destruct than ever get to earth.
  15. Someone who used to biew me negatively and has come to appreciate me or has overcome their negative biased against me.
  16. Humanism. I believe in protecting humans individually and as a society. I believe in respecting boundaries and encouraging connection to society.
  17. It's ironic because of our religious cultural propaganda. We're really not violating any of the 10 commandments. 3rd commandment isn't violated by the girl screaming "Oh my god!", but is violated by inboking gods name to do something evil, harmful, or sinful. Definitely the worst sinners are the religious ignorant, reading and invoking the Bible without understanding it and truly applying it. Living in hate anf vindictiveness instead of love and grace. They use God's word to fulfill their egos and not to obey God's message of love as told by Jesus.
  18. The Cat in the Hat Returns by Dr. Seuss
  19. Same goes for eye color. Darker eyes are better seeing in sunlight, lighter eyes are better at night vision, like wintery/cloudy environments or those nearer the arctic circle.
  20. The root cause is poverty. If you have good job opportunities and job security, you really don't risk it by selling or taking drugs. There are people that do, but they are few and far between.
  21. This is the answer. Pampanga is a decent candidate, but I would suggest a little further north.
  22. This tall European girl that later became a bold star. I forget her name.
