Pero pansin nyo bakit ang mga latest na jordan eh hindi gaano mabenta. Parang Natetenga sa Display ng store. (Kahit yung mga Retro)

 

Mas mabenta pa Lebron, ZKB1, Hurache 2k5.

 

Obviously kasi sa style ng Jordan. Tangalin mo yung Name na Jordan jan at Reebok ilagay sigurado hindi lang matetenga yan, Mabubulok dahil konti konti lng bibili.

 

Yung Lebron 3 and ZKB1 iisa lng ang nagdesign nyan yung kenlu ata.

he's not winning championships again... In my observation, the AJs would have sky-rocketed sales during the time the

Chicago Bulls would be on the playoffs and the championships... nowadays, young kids would most likely buy the LBJs and

May Factor rin na hindi rin naglalaro si Jordan. Pero di ba may pangalan na si Jordan. Papayag ba kayo na yan ang dahilan dahil hindi na naglalaro si Jordan?

 

Bibigyan kita ng Example: Yung Hurache 2k4 and 2k5. Hindi mo maiisip kung sino tlga top player nagmodel nyan(Si Kobe pero hindi obvious) Pero Grabe yung Sales nun. Lalo na yung 2k4. Kasi maganda design.

Sa akin naman nung Una lumabas yung Jordan 11 especially yung Black Colorway Gandang Ganda ako. Napanuod ko pa yun na suot ni Jordan. Ito yung 2nd coming nya.

Ang Napormahan lang ako kaso sa mga latest na Jordan yung Team Jordan pa na line. Yung Jordan B'Tru(Parang Jordan 11) ang ganda. Sadly wala yung colorway na gusto ko na dumating sa Pinas.

Uso ang retro sneakers ngayon (old school - e.g, Addidas superstar, the AF1 line, etc.) .. And because the Jordans since his return (esp 17 to the present) have mostly out of this world designs.. Hindi talaga mabebenta ito masyado dahil mainly (sa karamihan ng kakilala ko) ginagamit pamporma ang Jordans.. So importante din ang itsura hindi lang performance.. Sa akin importante yung style and I did not like the 17 onwards.. so I did not buy them..

 

At kahit naman yung ibang Jordan retros ay out of this world ang designs eh.. Like the 6,7,8 and 15.. Pangit ipamporma.. So, I think that the jumpman logo does help in selling them but they won't really wreak havoc on sales records because they do not really look good.. So I agree, kung pangit ang designs.. kahit sa anong brand lalangawin..

 

But Nike would not continue making new Jordans kung kahit papaano ay hindi ito nabebenta.. Isa lang ang ibig sabihin nito.. the Jordan line/jumpman line does sell.. Kahit pangit ang designs nabebenta kahit papaano.. Bakit kaya? Isang tanong, isang sagot.. MICHAEL JORDAN!!! Nuff said..

 

Nga pala, I like the 3, 4, 5, 11, 13, 14 and 16 only.. I currently have the 11 (low cut), 13 (low cut), 14 (last shot) and 16 (green colorway).. Kasi yung iba (i.e., 1, 2, 7, 9, 10, 15, 17-21) kahit meron ako nakita hindi ko talaga binili..

Uy preng Revs kamusta? I concur. Mejo acquired taste ung 12 pataas. Ung 14 for sentimental reasons(lalo na ung red/black colorway) na suot ni MJ sa last championship, ang kung may poster kayo nung last shot niya sa Utah eh nasa want list ko pa din. Swerte mo sa riverbanks dreng Revs.

 

Ako naman I collect for sentimental reasons. We didn't have much then when I was young and buying a 1k shoes back then was simply unheard of. Pinapalo pa nga ako ng parents ko pag-iniiyakan ko ung air pegasus(eto yata pinakamura na may air sole nun). Inggit na inggit ako sa mga conyo kids nun. Kaya eto mejo guminhawa, nakakapag tabi na ng mga things na na-miss out ko nung pagkabata ko. Misis ko na lang pumapalo sa kin pag bumibili ako ng "sale." Hehehe.

OT: May nadiskubre na naman ako sa Australia. Nagbebenta pala mga warehouses dito ng samples(sa tin ung mga pang display lang tawag) ng Nike at 30$, roughly 1,200.00 petot. Mejo madumi lang kaunti. Tsambahan lang sa size. I just copped a 30$ ZOOM KB and a LBJ 3. Pinakita ko resibo kay misis para di mapalo. Tsaka di gaanung nakaka-gulity pang laro. hehehe.

Next Target yung USA Lebron 20.5.5. Aantayin ko muna lumabas sa Pinas ito. Pero kung hindi lumabas eh yung Kobe na lng na 2k4 na Parang Design na Cheetah.

actually the people who designed the earlier jordans are behind the starbury too.

 

and nike's jordan line advertising manager is the one handling the starbury. what i watched in espn is that starbury is trying to give the kids an oppurtunity to wear an nba player endorsed shoe that doesn't cost $150 - $200.

 

according to that documentary too, no athletic shoe costs more than 15 bucks to manufacture.

 

in fact starbury would wear the shoe this upcoming season. asked by the reporter if he is risking his career by wearing that shoe, starbury replied "what risk are you talking about? i've told you several times, this shoe is engineered the same way as those $180 shoes. there is no risk."

 

 

 

come to think of it:

 

1. why does the other nba endorsed shoes cost too much? is the $2B athletic shoe business ripping off kids?

 

2. if the starbury is a success, would the other shoe manufacturers even consider lowering their prices?

 

 

 

i think this is noble on the part of starbury but i still dont like his play.
