Unfortunately the surname I am using does not include the additional letter that was in the birth certificate (simula ng ako'y nagkamulat). I went to the Manila Civil Registry Office last year and I was told that I just need to prove that I am who I claimed to be...in other words proof (NSO records, school records and other stuff). So I complied with all their requirements to "correct" the entry of my surname. However, when I went there yesterday, I was told that they cannot "correct" the entry in my surname because my mother (she passed away already...huhuhu) signed the name which was supposedly my surname (the incorrect one). The local civil registry told me that this case has to be petitioned to the court. I hope you can help on this. You should install win98 or winxp sa separate partition. Pag pareho nag hang sa win98 & winxp, check mo ang RAM mo. since you have 3 rams, tanggalin mo muna ang isa, pag palitpalitin mo sa slot para mag malaman mo kung ram chips nga ang problema. Malamang nga memory, pwede ding yung motherboard (yung memory slot). Either way, simulan mo na mag-backup just in case. 2 cents: dual boot sya kaya separate partition yan for sure. Naisip ko kasi din na ram ang cause ng prob ko pero usually nag bu blue screen yan sa nt kung prob ang ram. (sa experience ko lang po sa 2K na may sirang ram) ..at kung ram ang prob di hindi ako magka prob sa reboot at makaka load ako sa safe mode malang (sa experience ko ulit)ang contradiction lang ay yung kapag nag off ako ng matagal ay nakakaload na sa recovery (that means sa ram i guess) try ko i check ang ram pero pano mali pala ako 256+128 yun ram check ko nalang ang warranty siguro then kung otay na post ko. btw may pan check ba ng ram na software? Yung mas otay kesa mem test lang. teka ano ba ang "write protection fault you need to restart your computer" lumalabas kapag sa ME nakaboot? It allowed me to determine that 256MB of my 512MB RAM was the cause of my crashes and installation failures. You'll be surprised at how many times PC problems can be traced to defective memory.
