i miss the white sand beaches of puerto galera... maka balik nga

Para sa akin ang White Beach galera hindi maganda. Pag nakapunta na kayo Boracay, Palawan madidisappoint kayo white beach galera.(Kung basehan ay beach)

 

totoo yan pero masyadong mahal naman pumunta ng Boracay at Palawan. Plane ticket pa lang 7k+ na pag hindi promo.

 

Puerto Galera pang masa, kasya na 3k for 3 days & 2 nights on a quadruple sharing sa room.

 

March 1 to 30 rate sa mga aircon room good for 4 people is P1500 to P2000 very near the beach.

Guys and gals na nakapunta na sa puerto ng holy week, any info if me makukuha pa kaya ako accomodation in white beach sa puerto, holy week punta namen ng gf ko eh, thursday april 5 dating namen dun, mga 3-4 days kame. meron pa kaya kame makuha room dun na medyo affordable?? On the spot lang kame maghahanap ng room dun. I would appreciate your replies, thanks!

Pre Ive been recently been there.

 

I wont recommend you go there at the end of the month kasi according doon sa inn management they all would be raising their rates beginning March 30 kasi peak season na yung room nila na 2,000 would be raised to 6-7K.

 

I dont know of any accomodation na could hold up to 20 person pero marami doon mga room na payag hanggang 6 person. Yung nakuha namin 2,000 per day pero airconditioned room na. Mas mura ang Non aircon 1,500 lang. Pero ang downside yung tap water nila ay tubig poso na mabaho . . . So I would suggest na tubig na purified gamitin mo kahit na sa pagsisipilyo.

Ang tubig naman ay mura 10 pesos per liter doon sa isang restaurant.

 

Mahal kumain sa mga turo turo doon mas mura pa sa mga restaurant. Halimbawa ang kape sa turo turo 25 sa restaurant 10-20 lang.

 

Pagpunta nyo doon I would recommend na kumuha kayo ng boat tour on the island. Kasi I really would recommend yung snorkling nila . . Priceless :cool:

 

Total cost ng grupo namin for 3 days 2night trip namin ay mga 4,000 per person pero we bought and did everything our heart desires nagpatatoo pa kami ng henna . . he he he :cool:

 

hey since youve been there lately... is talipanan any good? do you know if it really is "sa dulo ng walang hanggan?" My friends and I are eying talipanan to enjoy seclusion, hehe. Ska duya know cheap accomodations in talipanan? Aside from talipanan, what beach would you suggest for us, one that's still near white beach... we dont want to totally miss the happenings eh. Parang lets say, we wna have the best of both worlds.

hey.. bin hir a couple of times.. and if you know the right contact ul have a great bargain hir.. stayed hir last yr for 3 days with a group of 11guys.. well sarap.. we only spent an average of 1.5k ... kasama na 2nayts na laklakan at gala...

 

to the guy na ask kung san may 20pax accomodation try mo ung place beside the mindorin oriental in white beach.. the one with a shark in its lawn.. its manage by a korean.. forgot the number na pero iam sure meron dun.... in a different trip [august]styed namn din dito 10 kami i think less than 3k a nayt ata for the rum :cool: ... the rum had 3 queen size bed and aircon tapos shower.. hindi kagandahan compared sa oriental pero kasya kami.. tapos may other group na 17 daw sila.. they occupied the 2nd floor... so i ges kasya 20 dun...

 

 

iv got the number nung nag mamanage nung mindorin if anyones interested... medyo pricy nga lang compared sa iba... pero pasadong 4star hotel to :cool: ... pm me nalang...

advice ko lang sa inyo kung pupunta kayo ng start ng holy week, mga after lunch na kayo pumunta sa bat pier.. grabe experience ko d2 last holy week.. kala nga namin mauulit ung stampede. sobrang dami ng tao pagbukas pa lng ng pier... kung dadating kayo d2 ng maaga be sure na nsa harap na kayo. kasi pag napuno ung loob sinasara nila ung gate tpos aantayin na makasakay lahat ng tao sa loob bago magpapasok ulit.. ingat na lng guys sa mga sasakay sa brian.. ang hilig mag overload nito..

talipanan is great if you just want to relax and have more privacy

2 lang ang alam kong pwedeng pag stayan dun eh

 

if i were you, go to whiebeach nalang

 

mas masaya dun, and then ride a boat or take a trike to talipanan and spend half of your day there

holy week is next week already, I suggest you leave saturday the 31st and start room hunting already if you get there on Thursday i don't know if you can still find one.

 

Always go there labor day (or labor day weekend) no reservations no nothing, we just pack up and go. Took me half a day and constant haggling to get a room (halfway decent pa, no bed, just a mattress on the floor japanese style) I can only imagine holy week to be much much much worse

Not good idea unless you'd be willing to pay 2 to 3 times the going rate. i suggest you go either earlier or after the holy week. This is the super peak season for them.

Kagagaling lang dun white beach... 5 kami budget dun room namin 1500/day hr pero sa holy week 3500 na daw yun .... mga 6K lang naubos namin balikan na yun. napakaganda ng mga tanawin dun grabe ang kikinis. at magreen ang tubig. 50 per bottle ng pale..redhorse 60 sa bar pag sa canteen kayo bumili 30 lang per bottle ng redhorse yan tip. good luckers sa inyo.

To those who are really familiar with Puerto Galera, I would like to ask some questions:

 

Just based on your personal opinion ... :cool:

 

1. Which particular areas in Puerto Galera has the best beach - clean, clear, with nice sand?

 

White Beach for mind is the best in terms of sand and water quality - or try Talipanan - nice beach, good pizza restaurant

but need to get there via bunker.

 

 

3. What place is the best resort accommodation in the Big Lalaguna area?

 

4. What place is the best resort accommodation in Small Lalaguna area?

 

5. What place is the best resort accommodation in Sabang?

 

There is a similar answer for me to these 3 as they are all pretty close and within walking distance - El Galleon is a good

resort and is attached to the Point Bar - same owner. The new place up the end of the beach the Red Sun is new and has

very nice, clean if somewhat small rooms. Good thing is every room has an ocean view.

 

If you are going to hire a bunker to take you around anywhere for a trip call in and have lunch at Fisherman's Cove - can

sit out on a dock in the water - hit the intercom and they will bring menus, drinks and then deliver food. Very relaxing.

Ahh yes! Talipanan beach is the best if you want peace and relaxation. There's also an authentic pizzeria there near the far end of the beach. Medyo malayo sya if you're planning on goin to white beach for a nightcap.
