bus fare to pier mga 150 per head.

2500 is usually good for 3 days 2 nights.

pag holy week, labor day or any vacation kasi sobrang crowded talaga and cant enjoy the beach that much.

if your planing to go to white beach area and not planing to bring a car i ges its just more practical and problem free to get a boat ride direct to white beach.. got to batangas pier and ask kung sang sakayan nun.... 150 for the ride and 10 terminal fee if my memory serves me right... good luck.....

Just got back from puerto galera with my gf (4 days 3 nights)..

Fyi, bus fare from LRT buendia station - batangas port P146.00, boat, P200/head, accommodations, P3,500 up (maski sa mga hindi na beachfront), tent P300/head plus P200 for the bed. Food, around P100/head/meal. Mahal daw talaga pag holy week. Dami tao pero it was all well worth it, ganda ng beach, views, and hot girls hehe.. Total spent P10k (tipid pa kame nyan). Hope i gave some valuable info.

Additional info, mas makakatipid kayo if marami kayo para share kayo sa accomodation cost. I think its much cheaper now coz tapos na holiday rush. Baka you can get P2k/day na for a beachfront accomodation. If 2 lang kayo, you can try the tents, it's not so bad considering tutulugan nyo lang naman yun and in there you almost dont want to sleep hehe. Be sure to bring a digicam with you and post hot pix here ha hehe...

Here's another pic of galera..

My officemates & I held our team building at Puerto Galera last week of March, before the Holy week. We took a bus ride at the Araneta Cubao Terminal just at the back of Ali Mall, malapit sa dating COD (now Pure Gold). P153 per head to Batangas City Port. It took almost an hour and a half din ppunta sa pier. Before we alighted, a guy approached us offfering us fare discounts. It's P200/per head for a ferry direcho White Beach, P340 balikan (to & from). Since 16 kami, we got minus 2 heads discount.

As a word of caution, never bring colognes, perfumes in bottle and anything liquid ennclosed in a seal lest they may be mistaken for liquid bombs. Because of security measures, your luggage will be scanned thoroughly. Syempre ang Pinoy, laging may lusot, told us n he will gather all those (including knives, which are for peeling mangoes) and will give us back the items pagkasampa na. Which he did! Just imagine yourself with sunburn and stinking badly!

The ferry trip took almost two hours. As soon as you landed, syempre, you will be greeted by a lot of people offering accomodations (NOTE: put your haggling/tawaran skills into good use!). Summer season na so expect everything higher. We then look for our contact, recommended by a co-worker which we called a day earlier to make a reservation. P2500 ang room, gud for 6, 3 sa isang bed pag puro kau payatot! :) Aircon n yun ska mlakas tubig.

Galera is commercialized na, pnay establishment na near d the shore. Hindi na problem ang food kc madmi nman kainan dun. We just brought sandwiches, water, mangoes, rice & adobo for lunch. We swam the afternoon away. Nightime nman we booze sa shore until the wee hours of the morning. You might get lucky and "catch" someone... what happens next is up to you!

Next day itinerary: Snorkeling: P150/per head. P50 for convoy boats, kapit ka lng sa lubid s katig niila so you can view the ocean's bottom. After that banana boat which charges P100 each.

The boat leaves 3:45pm (last trip for the day) so you will need to pack up early. Lots of souvenir items especially t-shirts with "Puerto Galera" prints, P100 each.

Have FuN & Enjoy Summer!

Yung sa Nipa Hut na accomodation na parang apartment type na aircon roms meron bang nakakaalam ng current rate? mga 2 years ago kasi 1,500 per day, magkano kaya ngayon? Salamat in advance!

2,500 to 3,500 for 4-6 pax room

2K to 2.5k 2 pax room

depends on the season and how good you haggle. :D

i got 3 rooms for my staff for a very nice deal. (PG this weekend) :P

they accept reservation payments thru bank (para sigurado k in peak season)
