umbertoeklat
Hey Zak, I'm curious about the Pentium M series. How is it? How good does it work? You in the Philippines? Pentium M is the Mobile proc of Intel and was built from ground-up vs. Pentium desktops counterparts. It is also part of the Centrino technology. (Pentium-M, intel chipset & intel Wi-Fi) better just get the P-M & chipset. or the new intel wi-fi w/ 802.11b/g. Quote Link to comment
whitemonkey
i made the greatest mistake on buying my asus d1400. it has an external battery and you still need to plug in the battery or direct to outlet... well, the performace is good and it has 4 usbs ... i suggest, if you will buy a laptop, buy the ones with internal battery.... TheGeneral
i've a couple of notebooks but this is what i love using... ECS EZ30D Tablet -Transmeta Crusoe 5800 800MHz-Wi-Fi Although it's not as sound as the other tablets like Acer TM C112TCi which costs around 132K, i'm happy with this gear and it cost me only a shade under 70k. Quote Link to comment
luol_deng
i can get any laptop i want and any upgrades, free from my company since im an IT admin. So far this year i have been using the Sony VAIO series but next year i might recommend the ASUS. All i need to do is lodge a claim form and reason why and in 5 days the company orders me one. hubes
I'm currently using an Apple 12" PowerBook G4 with the following specs: 1GHz PowerPC G440GB hard drive w/ an external 80GB firewire HDD768MB DDR SDRAM32MB video RAMSuperDrive (DVD-R/CD-RW)built-in 802.11g and Bluetooth. I'm extremely satisfied with the performance of my laptop and I definitely will not go back to using a PC. No offense meant to all the PC lovers out there but once you've used a Mac I don't think you would want to use a PC again. I've used two different PC laptops before: a Sony Vaio PCG-U1 and an IBM ThinkPad A21m. The Vaio was adorable since it was so small but since it was using a Transmeta Crusoe processor it just couldn't keep up with the work I did with it. The IBM, on the other hand, just died after about three years of use. For those of you who would like to know more about using a Mac I suggest you visit PhilMUG. Quote Link to comment
