MAYHEM To Record Covers CD!!!!

 

Mayhem will most likely release a CD before the new studio album is out. The cd will consist of a few covers and some re-recordings. The covers will be Sodom, Black Sabbath as well as 2 more bands. The re-recordings will be from Wolfs Lair Abyss. It will also contain a track from the forthcoming album. The cd may also contain some sort of live cd-rom track.

 

ALBUM UPDATE: From Blasphemer himself: "The new songs are tending towards a more aggressive and straight in your face kinda expression. Expect 8-10 vicious and disharmonic songs of the purest of Black Metal. :evil:

btw, saw robert plant perform sa jay leno show. the groove, the locks, and the swagger are still there, but not the voice.

@spongebobby: No, Led Zep is not metal. They're a hard rock band. They did influence a lot of metal bands but they're not metal per se. Robert Plant's high shrieks did influence a lot of high-pitched metal singers in the traditional heavy metal and power metal genres.

thanks i guess hard rock band nga is the right category. besides, acoustic guitars also dominate their music.

 

listening to the song black dog, though, makes me think that they can "out-metal" the metal bands out there.
