kumusta ang weekend ng mga accountants?

Sinnerman,

What weekend :( ? I was working the whole weekend and I expect I will spend the Holy Week in the office. . But, that's part of the risks of the trade. <_<

But hopefully, I can squeeze in a bottle or two in between the work.

:) DESTINATION:

TAGAYTAY.

:) PERSONNEL:

7 Marshals

5 Pit Stop Officers

1 Game Master.

:) PARTICIPANTS:

7 Teams. (2 people per team plus 1 marshal)

:) THE GAME:

A race from Monumento to Tagaytay via commuter jeepney route.

:) PIT STOP:

There are four pit stops along the way to Tagaytay excluding the starting mark and the ending mark. Each pit stop has a particular challenge for all the participants. The first team to arrive at a pit stop gets a prize before starting the challenge. The pit stop will always be notable landmarks of a particular locale. A team is deemed to have reached a pit stop when both participants including the marshal arrive safely in front of the pit stop officer.

:) CHALLENGES:

The challenges will be combinations of physical, mental, team working and/or strategic exercises BUT NOTHING SO DANGEROUS OR STRENUOUS. We promise it will be both fun and interesting. The pit stop officers will get to judge with finality the outcome of each challenge. As soon as a team completes a challenge they will be given a clue as to where the next pit stop will be.

:) CLUES TO THE NEXT PIT STOP:

To make the game a little more interesting, since everybody knows how to go to Tagaytay, the next pit stop will be given in the form of clues, riddles or anecdotes.

:) DISQUALIFICATIONS:

A team who refuses to do or complete a challenge gets eliminated.

A team found to be dishonest will be eliminated.

There are two elimination pit stops the last team to arrive at said PIT STOPS gets eliminated from the race.

A team who recklessly and/or unnecessarily risks the safety of any of its members will be eliminated. Ex. When riding a jeepney, all the team members must be safely inside the jeepney. (?Sabit? will be considered in violation of this rule)

Violation of any of these rules.

:) STARTING MARK:

Participation fees must be settled, registration is a must for assignment of team numbers. The game kicks off at 5:00 a.m. with a breakfast challenge. The first team to complete the challenge gets to go first.

:) END OF THE GAME:

The first team to arrive at the ending mark wins and will be escorted to the venue where they could enjoy the grand prize. The game ends at 12:00 p.m. whether or not the race is completed by the rest of the participants.

:grr: I can't stand it anymore!!!

 You take a stand, they over rule you!!

:( And they expect you to tell the client that they can't do it the way you suggested it to them.

 And then when the client calls them, they take your stand and tell you that you are being too conservative. :boo:

Where's the justice in that!!!

I need a drink!! Or maybe someone to cuddle up with.

@freelicker,

welcome to the world of realism. this is what really happens and it did happen to me several times and surely (and sadly  ) that it doesn't end there. just hope that it gives us a learning experience. sometimes we just have to realize the it's best for juniors to just be sure about their documentation of the transactions in question, place it in a confi-folder, and let the boss assume the risk. that has always been my position. so far they have and couldn't point anything against me on that if ever things go out of hand. just a friendly sharing lang. ;)
