The tallest building in the Philippines since its completion in 2017. 318 meters. 66 floors. 461 rooms occupying the upper floors of Federal Land's Grand Central Park complex. The Hyatt flagship that, together with Shangri-La The Fort, defines BGC's vertical luxury.

The Tallest Building in the Philippines

When Grand Hyatt Manila topped out in 2017, the building became — and as of 2026 remains — the tallest building in the Philippines, at 318 meters (1,043 feet) across 66 counted floors. The skyscraper sits at the heart of Bonifacio Global City, part of Federal Land's Grand Central Park mixed-use complex.

For BGC, the topping-out of Grand Hyatt was a structural moment. The district had a Shangri-La The Fort already (opened 2016, 247m), but Grand Hyatt's added vertical and the diversified brand portfolio sealed BGC's claim as Metro Manila's premier vertical-luxury cluster.

The Tower

Grand Hyatt Manila occupies the upper floors of the 66-storey tower, with 461 guest rooms distributed across the higher elevations of the building. The lower floors include the lobby (multi-level vertical lobby format), the dining and event venues, the spa and pool deck, and the elevator core that connects the hotel to the Grand Central Park residential and retail complex below.

The vertical configuration means every Grand Hyatt room — even the entry-tier — has a substantial view. The 318-meter tower height ensures that the lower hotel floors are still well above the surrounding BGC skyline.

The Federal Land Context

The tower is part of Federal Land's Grand Central Park mixed-use complex — a master-planned development that includes:

  • Grand Hyatt Manila (the hotel and ballroom)
  • Grand Hyatt Manila Residences (luxury residential condominiums)
  • Retail and dining (the Grand Central Park retail strip)
  • Office and commercial space

For affluent guests, the mixed-use structure means the hotel sits at the intersection of corporate, residential, and leisure traffic — a different ecosystem from the standalone Manila luxury hotel.

The Accommodations

461 rooms across multiple categories. The signature features include:

  • Wood paneling in the room interiors
  • Maple flooring
  • Marble bathrooms
  • Large windows with views of the BGC skyline and beyond

The room categories include:

  • Grand Rooms — entry-tier, calibrated to the property's luxury standard
  • Grand Premium Rooms — upgraded floor positions
  • Grand Club Rooms — Grand Club access (private lounge, all-day refreshments, breakfast, cocktails)
  • Suites — including the Specialty Suites and the Presidential Suite

The Grand Club floor at Grand Hyatt is one of the more elevated club-floor experiences in Manila — the lounge sits at significant altitude, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the BGC and broader Metro Manila skyline.

The Dining

Grand Hyatt Manila runs a multi-concept dining program:

  • The Grand Kitchen — the property's all-day international buffet, with the standard luxury hotel breakfast through dinner
  • No. 8 China House — the Cantonese fine dining
  • The Peak — the rooftop bar and restaurant with the tower's highest-altitude vantage
  • Steakhouse — the dedicated steak fine-dining
  • Lobby Bar — the lobby cocktail program

The Peak is the property's signature dining destination — a rooftop bar at one of the highest hotel vantages in Metro Manila, with views over the BGC, Makati, Ortigas, and the broader skyline. For affluent guests, this is the booking to make for the sunset cocktail experience.

The Pool, Spa, and Fitness

Grand Hyatt Manila operates a significant pool deck, a luxury spa, and the fitness center calibrated to the brand's global Grand Hyatt standard.

The Service Code

Hyatt's service at Grand Hyatt Manila is calibrated to the brand's premium Asian-luxury international standard. The property is one of the city's preferred bookings for international business travelers loyal to the World of Hyatt loyalty program.

When to Stay

Grand Hyatt Manila operates year-round with a substantial international business traveler base. Holy Week, Christmas-New Year, and major BGC events are the peak booking windows. Weekend rates can be competitive against the weekday business rates.

For affluent guests prioritizing the The Peak rooftop experience, the cool dry months (November–February) offer the most reliable clear-skyline evenings.

Getting There

  • BGC center — walking distance to High Street, SM Aura, the BGC office cluster
  • NAIA → 20–35 minutes via Skyway
  • Makati → 10–15 minutes via Kalayaan or McKinley Hill
  • Ortigas → 20–30 minutes via C-5 or EDSA
  • Mall of Asia → 25–40 minutes

Cross-Region Pairings

Grand Hyatt is part of the BGC vertical luxury cluster:

  • Shangri-La The Fort Manila — the BGC peer five-star (across the district)
  • Bonifacio High Street and SM Aura — the BGC retail anchors
  • BGC office cluster — the corporate workplace context
