Falling For A Client - (For Theras' Perspective Only)

Recommended Posts

Okay, so it begins with all the great and good feelings you get from really great sex, because men are really pretty simple. Once you get enough good sex you think, wow she is special, and you might have an emotional reaction because you are training yourself that being with her feels good. So then things develop, and you decide to be a white knight and solve her problems, align your interests with her.

A lot of the time, if you have money, this seems simple enough because what are these expenses, and some of them are mindful of expenses, so they don't overstep too much. But then you try to get serious, and the question is is she someone who can be serious? Does she have life skills or will you be the sole provider of everything- because that can be a big ask. BUT then again even legit women are like that- they expect you to provide everything- financially, emotionally, intellectually, etc., but more so with the theras because on some level- they gave up trying to be "legit" whatever that means- but there you are trying to make something from their "mortal clay"

Well, there's a lot more to it than that. But any endeavor requiring great change and a new way of doing things is prone to 100 failures and 1 success.

This question comes up constantly here because there’s no black and white rule. Can a real connection happen between a client and a provider? Technically yeah, feelings aren't controllable. Is it common or practical though? Not really.

It just depends on the people involved, and if both sides can actually interact outside the transaction instead of just playing a role. Most of the time it’s just one person projecting... but every now and then someone breaks the rule. No universal law here, just heavy odds.

At the end of the day, whatever decision you make, you just have to own it.

Falling for a client as a thera? Ewan pero hahahaha sakit sa ulo toh para sa dalawang magkaibang personalidad, as someone na nagbabayad and nag papabayad

sa part ng thera mastress ka kasi pag nawala sa gabi yan mabubungol ka kakaisip asan na namn spa si pukingina hahahahaha as a client, yung past nya iisipin mo and pwd mo bring up pag nag aaway kayo or pwd ding hnd ewan ko, depende din nmn siguro sa tao yun pero sa dami ng nakita ko na relationship between thera and client

may client na nasira life

and tayo naman as a thera

They can carry a conversation about relationships, and you'd be amazed sa experience na maishe share nila sa iyo based from what they saw, and what they learned from their own.

Lalo na ngayon na mas matured na silang mag isip, the way they view life no matter how complicated it may be haharapin nila o hahanapan nila ng simpleng solusyon. Marami man silang iko consider before making a decision, but in the end iisipin na nila ngayon kung anong makabubuti para sa kanilang  emotional and mental wellness bukod sa kanilang sinusuportahang mga family relatives.

As much as possible, whenever and whatever it may be, they will avoid complications.

Five years ago, a client changed the direction of my life.

He asked me to stop working as a therapist and promised na siya na ang magpo-provide sa akin. Because of him, I went back to school. He paid for my needs, gave me a weekly budget, spoiled me with gifts, took me everywhere with him, and even shouldered my rhinoplasty. But more than the things he gave, he made me feel like I deserved a better life.

We were together for one and a half years—the happiest eighteen months of my life. Our relationship wasn’t perfect, especially because he was already married. We fought and had problems, but he never used everything he provided against me. Never niya akong pinaramdam na may utang na loob ako. Kapag siya ang mali, marunong siyang mag-sorry at manuyo. Hindi ako kailangang maghabol just because he held the financial power in our relationship.

Eventually, we had to let each other go. I returned to work and had to pause my studies, but I never went back to being a therapist. For that alone, I will always be thankful to him.

Maybe it’s unfair, but no one I met after him ever made me feel as cared for as he did. Sometimes, I still look at his life from afar. I see how successful he has become, and even though I’m no longer part of that life, I’m still proud of him.

To you, J—thank you for loving the version of me that was still trying to find her way. I know we can’t bring back what we had, but I’ll never regret those eighteen months. Now, I’m back in school as a working student, still rebuilding my life—and a part of the woman I am today will always exist because you once believed in me.

It's a tough road to get to where you want to go. No judgement on your relationship; what matters is that the both of you were happy. Glad you are studying and working hard to make yourself a better life. There will be struggle but think of the future if you ever feel like you want to go back to your previous life.

For the sake of who you are to become, you will sacrifice who you are now.
