he is starting to become a Sorry President.

But if Du30 can remember to bite his lip every time he gets baited by the media to say something controversial, there will be less apologies to ask.

He should just smile or maintain a poker face and keep quiet. Mas nakakatakot yun.

Para kay Atty., a young innocent girl saved is equal to the life of a drug criminal if still not yet convicted.

Investors continue to bet big on the Philippines despite the negative publicity the country has been getting from the spate of drug-related killings and President Duterte’s controversial pronouncements.

Investment pledges approved by the Board of Investments (BOI) in the nine months ending September 2016 soared 49 percent year-on-year to P286.44 billion, the agency’s managing head Ceferino Rodolfo said yesterday.

At ayan nanaman, Trillanes nanaman.

ah.... dahil mahihirap sila, waste of time, ganun ba?

i stick to the issues, not to the personalities involved.

The President's trust rating dropped to 64 percent.

Huge drop from 90% to 64%...

I think 99% of us support and laud the crack down on drug lords and pushers but his incompetence in handling foreign diplomacy and economy will surely be a recipe for disaster. I don't understand why the President needs to attack the US, EU, and UN. His arrogance is already bordering stupidity. Baka nakakalimutan niya na karamihan sa mga BPO industry came from US, Australia, UK, etc. as well as huge foreign aids we are currently receiving from these countries.

I feel sorry for Dutertards and cabinet secretaries who are constantly scrambling whenever Duterte opens his dirty mouth.

Businessmen head to Palace to defend Duterte admin

http://www.rappler.com/nation/148282-businessmen-defend-duterte-administration?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=referral

For two straight days, businessmen came to Malacañang to defend President Rodrigo Duterte, who continues to be criticized for his tirades against the United States and European Union.

Three businessmen, who also lead influential business groups and associations in the Philippines, were invited to speak about their thoughts on the Duterte administration during Palace press briefings on Tuesday, October 4, and Wednesday, October 5.

Private businessmen are not usually invited to these briefings. Usual guests are Cabinet secretaries or government agency heads.

On Tuesday, the guests were Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) president George Barcelon and Employers' Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP) president Donald Dee.

On Wednesday, the guest was Australian businessman Peter Wallace of the Peter Wallace Business Forum.

Dee told reporters that the perceived close ties of two countries don't necessarily mean more investments.

During previous administrations perceived to be closer to the US than the Duterte administration, US investments in the Philippines did not grow significantly, he said.

"Here's 3 administrations, two of which were close to the Americans and one was very close, so you would expect that, you know, during the time that the very close administration was in place that there would be a big spike, right? Well, it's not. You look at our FDIs (foreign direct investments), it's flat – $7 billion. You look at it, it's flat, almost flat – $7 billion to 7.7 billion," said Dee.

He said what matters to foreign investors is how "friendly" the Philippine economy is to investors, something the Duterte administration is working on in several areas.

Barcelon also pointed out some gains in streamlining business-related government processes under the Duterte presidency.

"We've seen the reduction on bureaucracy in some of the government agencies. And even the local governments have [taken] the advice of the President to simplify the procedures to help the small businesses," he said.

MORE GOOD NEWS.... DESPITE OF HIS FOUL MOUTH

LTO to issue 5-year driver's license next week

http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/10/05/16/lto-to-issue-5-year-drivers-license-next-week

The licenses with an extended validity will be issued by three LTO branches in Quezon City on October 10, while other LTO offices in Metro Manila will have these available by October 14, LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante said.

The new licenses will be issued by LTO branches outside of Metro Manila by year-end, he added.

Despite having an extended validity, the new licenses will still come in the form of paper receipts instead of plastic cards as the agency has yet to resolve the procurement issue that has hounded the agency since 2013.

The LTO's 600,000 backlog of driver's licenses stemmed from a 2013 order by the Commission on Audit that prevented LTO from transacting with its previous supplier, Amalgamated Motors Philippines, due to lack of a proper contract.

"Since the temporary restraining order has been lifted, we are now processing the procurement of the license cards," Galvante said.

Galvante admitted that they still have a few stocks of the plastic cards, but are reserving these for overseas Filipino workers (OFW) as most foreign governments and employers would not honor licenses printed on paper.

The LTO targets to issue plastic license cards again by the second quarter of 2017, along with the distribution of vehicle plates that have bar codes.

The LTO is hopeful that the processing of driver's licenses will be faster this time as "it will no longer undergo bidding" as the agency sought the help of the National Printing Office to handle the production of the new licenses and plates.

The 91% is the trust rating ...

The +64% is his net satisfaction rating.

the two are different,

=======

Note however that while a +64% net satisfaction rating is considered as very good this is down from +79% NSR (excellent) when a similar survey was conducted last June.

Simply put dumadami ang dissatisfied sa kanya at yun mga nagdadalawang isip from the time before he assumed office and 3 months after.
