I know what I said. He is filthy rich from what his Dad stole. So what % did the PCGG got, kasi kung marami silang nabawi as you were saying he will not be filthy rich after 30 years.

And is FEM convicted of anything to make that claim?

Still I feel that the Filipino people will benefit more if Duterte make friends with the Marcoses than treat them as enemy. I also don't know why Jopoc is also against dito diba si Binay din naman payag si Marcos ilibing doon?

‘Revolutionary tax reasonable’ – NDFP spokesman

DAVAO CITY — The practice of revolutionary taxation by the communist movement is reasonable, according to Fidel Agcaoili, spokesman of the National Democratic Front of the Philippines peace panel, which is negotiating with the Philippine government to end their 40-year-old insurgency.

Agcoaili on Wednesday said taxation has always been a component of the revolutionary movement, most especially in delivering services to its constituents.

“That is why we are a revolutionary movement. We wish to win the revolution to establish a state,” Agcaoili said.

“You have to understand that the revolutionary movement has its revolutionary organs. Any state has the right to enforce tax,” Agcaoili added.

Agcaoili, however, asserted that the collected tax has always been delivered to their communities.

“It does not go to the pockets of a few people like those in government. It is used in establishing schools, cooperatives and medical services,” he said.

Agcaoili added that the issue of revolutionary taxation would be discussed in the peace negotiations. SFM

why the need to defend?

this guy is not from Digong's camp, he is from the NPA camp. And Digong already said, he is left but not an NPA member.

Of course this guy will defend their ways, did the article said the P. Digong said what he said is RIGHT and JUSTIFIABLE?

I dont see the logic in your post

the more than 16 million people who voted for him expect change. a lot of change. and improvement of their lives. little things like crime, drugs, traffic, salaries, pension, prices of basic goods, tuition fees

things that the ordinary filipino worry about but were not really given importance by the rich politicians who only were concerned about their vested interests.

Kaya ka nga tinatanong ... sangayon ka ba sa posisyon niya about the revolutionary taxes as a mayor.

you try to defend the mayor by trying to say nagbago na ang pananaw niya. did he categorically said he is now against payment of revolutionary tax? sa pagkakaalam ko wala pa at left leaning talaga yan. Hindi pa yun pulis na dinukot ng npa "ok" lang sa kanya kasi sangkot daw sa katiwalian ayon sa dumukot. in other words, i'm just trying to point it out to you that madaling sabihin ninyo in defense of him na nagbago na siya but the truth is ,,, based on his actions, Hindi nagbago yun tao as of now.

Yes I am for MAR, but show me where I said I like him for his incompetencies. like I said before, hindi siya perfect so I don't go out of my way to defend him on every issues that I think sablay siya.

Naiintindihan ko na may kanya-kanya tayong manok pero let's be critical of them when needed ... otherwise mananahimik na lang ako kaysa"ipagtanggol" ang isang mali.

Are you serious?!!!

How will it benefit the nation if we look favorably on NPA's "revolutionary tax" ?

You're really naive to even consider it a form of tax. If you don't pay the NPA, they will either prevent you from doing business (mostly farming related), threaten your workers, burn your equipment, or k*ll you. What do you get in return if you pay? Nothing.

That's not taxation. It's extortion.

It is the government's job to stop this criminal activity and protect us from extortionists. And yet your idol tells farmers and businessmen to go ahead and pay the extortion fees. It's no different from Mar's infamous statement: "Bahala kayo sa buhay 'nyo"
