SSS Inquiries... Let Me Help You...

Recommended Posts

sir izzecoh,

down ba website ng sss ngayon?

the network connections of the online inquiry, including dun s mga branches din, is under regular maintenance. kaya online verification is temporarily unavailable. within ds week, baka bumalik n yun s normal.

meron akong 2 katanungan:

1) may salary loan ako ngayon na binabayaran. what if i want to pay if off by making a balloon payment, pwede ba yun? tsaka pano magiging process nun? currently, i let my employer deduct the monthly amortization thru my pay.

puede po. you can pay it in full thru banks or directly to the SSS Branches.

(two years after the date of the last loan availed)... puede na po...

but the amount may vary from your current contribution.

Dagdag ko lang. Even if you have fully paid your loan ahead of the loan maturity which is 2 years, you cant apply for a new loan til your loan matures. Kaya, use it nalang for other purpose or invest it in other things muna coz sayang din na matutulog yung pera

pareng izzecoh,

What are the SSS-accredited banks where I can pay my monthly contributions? I'm a contractor so I have to pay them myself. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but for the benefit of the peeps who are new to this thread, maybe you can answer it again.

Thanks in advance! :)

On leave yata si pareng izzecoh...hmmm. Anyway, you can pay your monthly contributions at Philippine National Bank, Union Bank and MetroBank to name a few. Most commercial banks are now accredited with SSS. You can also remit your contri at the SSS Branch nearest your office or residence.

ok, thanks for the answer. Do these banks also provide the SSS forms? mas ok sana kung pati Philhealth na rin

so b4 going to these banks, mag secure k muna ng mga forms....

but the best way to remit ur contributions is thru the SSS Tellers....

most of the SSS branches ay meron n nito...

pareng izzecoh,

you're such a big help to all the people here. great job! pasensya na kung marami akong tanong.

I'm sure this was already asked before, but for the benefit of all the new members (including me) in this thread, maybe you can explain again how SSS computes for a member's pension upon retirement.

salamat po! :)

Good afternoon guys.

*** meron ba form na kailangan for voluntary contribution?

I asked around about this and some friends told me that they pay their SSS (individual) at either Chinabank or Unionbank. You can also pay at Bayad Center. I think you can print out the form that's provided in their website (www.sss.gov.ph) and then use that form for your payments.

If I'm wrong, anyone pls correct me. tnx

How much monthly pension will a retiree receive?

The monthly pension depends on the members paid contributions, including the credited years of service (CYS) and the number of dependent minor children but not to exceed five. The amount of monthly pension will be the highest of:

1. the sum of P300 plus 20 percent of the average monthly salary credit plus 2 per cent of the average monthly salary credit for each accredited year of service (CYS) in excess of ten years; or

2. 40 per cent of the average monthly salary credit; or

3. P1,200, provided that the credited years of service (CYS) is at least 10 or more but less than 20 or P2,000, if the CYS is 20 or more. The monthly pension is paid for not less than 60 months.

A retiree has the option to receive the first 18 monthly pension in lump sum discounted at a preferential rate of interest to be determined by the SSS. The option should be exercised upon filing of the first retirement claim. Only advance payments shall be discounted on the date of the payment. The dependents’ pension and 13th month pensions are excluded from the 18 months lump sum pension.

The member will receive the monthly pension on the 19th month and every month thereafter.
