Am not a laker fan pero mas maganda pumasok sa playoffs ang lakers kaysa sa utah.... Lineup wise in paper lakers is still considered a scary team. The problem is the coach... Dantoni is a run and gun coach... Look at his phx team amare was his center and most of the time he finished the fastbreak... Lal cant run... I was like "huh" why did they choose diantoni over phil....

Kobe Bryant's torn left Achilles is expected to be a complete tear of the tendon, according to Kevin Ding of the Orange Country Register.

 

It's painful to hear, but it makes sense since Kobe said he could feel that his Achilles wasn't attached to his heel. He will have an MRI on Saturday and there's little doubt that it will confirm this initial diagnosis. Rehabs on Achilles tears tend to be 6-8 months, so there's still a chance he can return by the beginning of next season. We'll be watching his rehab very closely every step of the way and we're not counting him out to be a major force in the 2013-2014 season.

I just find it hard to believe na walang koneksyon yung paglaro ni Kobe ng nearly 48 min a game at his age and what happened sa kanya (Achilles injury).

Even if it's not the direct cause, I would think it increased the likelihood that it could happen to him.

 

Just really think DAntoni's hiring was one big mess to start with. He's a 1 trick pony as a coach, fits well with Phoenix but he can't adapt to his line-ups talent.

I agree with MangNyakis, bad decision from the very start.

Kobe Bryant is out for the rest of the season. It will take him 6-12 months to eventually recover. To his fans, we're sorry for what happened to him. If the LA Lakers management decide to use the Amnesty Clause and reject Bryant next season, the team might save 30.5 million of Kobe's salary and $80 million more in luxury tax.
