These days with the prices of original items going down - especially computer consumables, it doesn't makes sense to risk the quality and buy at CDR-King anymore.

 

I used to buy all my CDs and Printer ink here back in college early 2000s, but now, since I don't use CDs anymore and the original Canon inks are so cheap, I'd go for the original instead.

 

Especially I had a few bad experiences with their inks a few years ago - all ink I bought didn't work.

well, for one, cdr king was originally a blank cd shop and... no one uses cd nowadays. 

plus, though they got a variety of cool gadgets, but mostly were class b burners - - - things that you'd get rid of in a month. and with electronics getting cheaper even the branded ones, cdr king became synonymous to a "divisoria level" type of shop. 

and lastly, yeah the overhead wouldve most likely eaten up most of each branchs profits.
