bughaw1
39 ft attempts ang japan,6 ft attempts lang tayo. sana wag naman ganyan bukas. malaki ang tsansa natin manalo bukas basta patas ang tawag ng mga refs. Quote Link to comment
Nel Horan
China let's do this!!!!!!what a defense by Norwood and what a clutch 3s from dondon.. what a perfect way to get his rhythm back.. castro and blatche as usual... Quote Link to comment
RED2018
Kudos also to Gabe for a game-long defensive gem... Quote Link to comment

Hari ng Spakol
Two down, one to go! All out na tomorrow, buwis buhay na dapat ang laro ng Gilas. Okay naman yung mga naging referees ng china vs iran kanina, sana sina na lang din ang mag referee bukas. Pero i doubt na gagawin ito ng china. They will do anything to get the championship against us. Quote Link to comment

junix
finally the breakout game that we've been waiting for from the cebuano hotshot. halata na naman ang mga referee kanina lalo na yung indian. taga-saan na naman kaya ang mga pipito bukas? japan? kuwait? hongkong? mukhang malaki ang galit sa atin ng mga ito. pero laban lang. one more win to rio...it's going to be a tough match with china having homecourt advantage. just play smart, tough defense and with energy, kakayanin natin ang china. KAPIT MGA KABABAYAN...LABAN PILIPINAS!!! Quote Link to comment

KAPIT MGA KABABAYAN...LABAN PILIPINAS!!! Japan was just practically scoring off fre throws and our boys were really having a hard time defending them because of the calls. Yung mga fouls natin, pusisyunan, box out. taas kamay. Samantalang sila Romeo, Abueva, Blatche, pinaghahataw na on the way to the basket no call. Really commendable coaching staff for doing a good job on controlling our boys' emotion and having them play their game and focus to get the W. Talagang walang ginawa mga bata kanina kundi lumaban.#PUSO! Quote Link to comment
Nel Horan
kodus also to coach tab for pacifying abueva.. the beast was really making bad decisions during the game..but tomorrow he neads to unleash the beast and the rest of the gang.... Quote Link to comment
Nel Horan
I wasn't really that impressed with the win but a win is a win and I'll take it. Gilas played PBA-style ball. There were times when the offense was stagnant. In my opinion, the key or turning point of the game was the start of the fourth. Blatche was rested and I thought Japan was gonna blitz us. It was at that point that Gilas played its best defense, a scrambling defense plus key baskets from Hontiveros and Castro. Hontiveros could have easily been the best player for Gilas in this game due to his timely sniping. However, it was a total team effort. that made Gilas win this game. Gilas was befuddled no end by Japan's high screen and roll and fluid motion offense with some strong side off-the-ball screening action. De Ocampo made some key block shots, most especially, at the end of the second quarter that prevented Japan from getting a two-point lead at the half. Totally agree with u!!! good thing napagod na rin siguro yung scorer ng Japan.. it was indeed a team effort.. timely steals by norwood and baskets by Dondon... Quote Link to comment
Nel Horan
did you all see that almost all the coaching staff of china were there closely watching and scouting both teams? they have the luxury to do that.. Now it's a challenge to the coaching staff of Gilas to do their assignments too... 'coz no matter what will happen tomorrow.. for sure a "chess match" between the coaches is very much crucial..
