Daming magsposponsor dyan... Pero yun dahil nagiisip na mahirap at malabo? Aba eh maling mindset yun...even sa mga nagsusuggest nun...yan ang isang rason bakit nde umuunlad... Binigyan na tayo ng chance bakit nde natin igrab? Experience yan for the gilas players and also sa mga fans... Eh ano kung nde makuha yun mga players na gusto? Umabot sila sa silver with those players and di ituloy na....exactly my point also. ipagpalagay na natin na mabigat ang mga kalaban, but to admit na di tayo makakalusot without even trying is a bad mental attitude. for our gilas players to be at par with the best in the world, we have to compete with the best in the world. by doing so, gilas players will gain the much needed international exposure. once we have gained the needed international training and exposure, the asian level will be peanuts. just my 2-cents worth. Oo...pero first time yan sa phil team..kahit maexperienced man lang na makasali sa olypic qualifiers at makalaban naman ang mga teams ng ibang bansa...thats how we improve...kahit larong kanto maintindihan yan...dumadayo pa nga tayo sa kabilang kanto para makalaban sila kahit matatangkad pat may pustahan...ganun din yan sa international settings...we need exposure...yun mga practice games before against new zealand, russia, netherlands etc...small time lang yan compared sa makakalaban mo yun france, serbia, greece.... Also comparing yun ginawa ng chinese team nun 2013...na nilampaso dito at nagfocus daw for 2015 FIBA...e syempre magfiofocus talaga sila kasi tanggal naman agad sila sa any international games dahil nde sila nagqualify....ano pang gagawin nila? Tsaka makakapagfocus ba ang Players ng gilas? E balik PBA din sila....cmon MVP...parang nde ikaw yan ah...o baka naman alam mong mapapagod players mo kasi sila na naman isasabak? bughaw1 Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 isa lang ibig sabihin nyan......nawala na ang "love" ni mvp sa basketball.....lumabas din na kelangan talaga mahaluan ng business aspect sa mga pinagagawa nya. kumakain na rin kasi sa profit margin ng mpic ang basketball program na yan....ultimo yung pag hire ng mga atenista at bedistang player na hindi na draft ng pba eh ginawa na rin nya....eh pinagliliga lang nya yun within his companies. pagkatapos he will be accused of pirating players pa....its all his funds tapos he is taken for granted. lets face it...hindi mag sisilver ang gilas kung walang funding ni mvp. so if desisyon nya na 2017 mag focus then so be it. lets see if nickelasia is true to their word na susuporta sa philippine basketball. sila ang mag fund ng 2016 campaign ng national team. basta good job si mvp. 1 Quote Link to comment
junix Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 whoever will be funding gilas' campaign in the future, i still believe it is for the good of the team to compete in the qualifiers. this will enable the players to gain the much needed international exposure. iba pa din yung iba-ibang bansa ang makakalaban ng pilipinas...from europe to the americas to africa. kaysa naman sila-sila lang sa asia. i don't think na nawala na yung love ni mvp to support philippine basketball...i hope not. Kahit ang RoS nagdamot na din at isang player na lang pinahiram nila at hindi na pinayagan sina jeff chan at paul lee. Kung hindi pa din magpapahiram next year ang SMC, eh din yung TnT team na lang ang ipadala sa olympic qualifier. At least iwas sunction pa tayo ng Fiba. Quote Link to comment

cbotc Posted October 6, 2015 Share Posted October 6, 2015 I think MVP's opting not to play in the qualifiers is out of exasperation for not getting the cooperation of the team owners in releasing the much needed talent and height of the club's players for the Gilas Team.I don't blame him, MVP funds Gilas out of his love of sport and country.
