gherome
despite the ugly fourth quarter though and have to cite that the refs have to play a factor (ganda na ng laro eh).. :thumbsdownsmiley: ......but....but...amidst all that...Go Ateneo!! yey! :thumbsupsmiley: One Big Fight!!!!! yeah!!!!!!! Kudos to Casio...darn he has heart Quote Link to comment
Vegasboy32
Congrats to ADMU. Those losses in their past campaigns toughened them up. One Big Fight. Quote Link to comment
Immortal666
I agree, the refs spoiled this game. Puede nang i-let go yung nangyari kay Maierhoffer. Wala namang nakapansin if ever nag-drity finger man si Rico. Mas lalong na magnify nung tinawagan ng ref. Quote Link to comment
gumshoe
the blue eagles just shackled their opponents..sticky sticky defense merits dividends, always! the greenies had their chances, but they were just overwhelmed by the blues! let's see if the other league will put on a show in their own finals! :goatee: Quote Link to comment
Vegasboy32
pangarat ngarat pa kasi si maierhofer. yan talaga problema ng dlsu team ang trademark nila trash talkin ang bashing kahit na sino pa kalaban nila. respect your team mates, respect your opponents but above all respect the game. gherome
hmmm..La Salle didnt show up to receive their 1st runner up medals and trophy...what's up with that? Quote Link to comment
gumshoe
nag-explain naman daw si rico..na kesyo aware na sya dun sa 1st technical call kaya ba't naman nya hahayaan mangyari yun? well, that's his explanation..he aired his side. kung ano pa man ang iniisip nya nung ginawa nya yun, sa kanya na yun. now, this game 2 will be tainted, like any other games before, shaded with controversy and please! don't stoop down to excuses. face it, you were overwhelmed by a better team. tapos, di pa kayo nagpakita ng ano mang bakas ng sportsmanship..galit kayo dahil natalo kayo..kay di nyo na kinuha yung runner-up trophy. what a class act! :goatee: pangarat ngarat pa kasi si maierhofer. yan talaga problema ng dlsu team ang trademark nila trash talkin ang bashing kahit na sino pa kalaban nila. respect your team mates, respect your opponents but above all respect the game. thedynamite007
Vegasboy32
la salle really relies on their guards and forwards. kaya nung nawala si rico at nag foul out si casio nag small ball na lang sila. they should consider getting a big man next year. Quote Link to comment

gumshoe
now, that's character for ya! know how it feels..it stings really bad! when letran never made it to the finals, it was heartbreaking..same as last year. but still, we held our heads up high. and shown some class. guess you're better than the rest of us. :goatee: we dont need no stinking medals .. its either the trophy or nothing .... its all about pride... thedynamite007
2nd place or third place will never be remembered in history its like in NBA or PBA its championship or nothing. Lasalle showed its pride that they will never kneel down on ateneo and will never cry for it. Even the Lasalle fans and students just went home and ignore evrythign even Lasalle rectors. Matalu na sa lht wag lang sa ateneo pag pumayag sila kunin ung award it means they accept ateneo are better men than them. Lasalle showed there bravery in deciding not to show up and its an insult to ateneos face. Quote Link to comment
gumshoe
honga pala! nagkamayan ba sina black at pumaren nung endgame? di ko napansin..busy sa posting. yan ang sport. ayaw tumanggap ng pagkatalo. Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
congratulations to ateneo; well deserved champs i hope la salle man up to losing; i hope nobody makes excuses or conspiracy theories on how they lost; and jeez, not receiving their medals and trophy during the awarding!?! i really thought they had more class than that tsk tsk tsk Quote Link to comment
gherome
With all being said about sportsmanship, I wonder if the 2002 DLSU team did get their trophy before. I think they did. There were more characters in that team (MacMac, Yeo, Gaco, etc) than this one. I hear you out DH, but I dunno..probably its just pride being misplaced... honga pala! nagkamayan ba sina black at pumaren nung endgame? di ko napansin..busy sa posting. yeap..they did Quote Link to comment
gumshoe
stomping your foot on that, too..huh! again, guess you're BETTER than the rest of us..ateneans, thomasians, letranites, etc. :goatee: 2nd place or third place will never be remembered in history its like in NBA or PBA its championship or nothing. denimhead
hehehhehehehe ... pride is always misplaced .... they lost, they dont need medals to commemorate the loss. i dont think so .. uaap should just donate those to charity .... never been a fan of celebrating 2nd place anyways its either you win or you lose .. simple as that Quote Link to comment
