junix
He should be banned permanently sa PBA.
Hatfield ends pro cage career By Nelson Beltran (The Philippine Star) Updated September 03, 2011 12:00 AM MANILA, Philippines - Fil-Am forward Rudy Hatfield announced he's out of Barangay Ginebra and the league for good. In an email message to coach Jong Uichico, Hatfield said he's no longer returning to play with the Kings since he has accepted another job that won't keep him away from his family. "He said this might be the end of his basketball career," Uichico told The STAR. "I say you caught me off-guard with this. I've yet to check my email account again but I plan to call him up," Uichico added. Hatfield was supposed to return from the United States on Aug. 22 but Uichico himself advised the player to delay his travel plan since Ginebra won't be back to practice until after the rookie draft. "He said 'okay, I'll fly before or after the draft,' then came his email message saying he'll no longer be back," said Uichico. Hatfield was a source of instant energy for Ginebra, emerging as the league rebounding champion in the last Philippine Cup. He had just returned from a long sabbatical when he left again after the 2011 Commissioner's Cup, leaving a big void in the Ginebra frontline. photographer
Ano ba ang nangyari kay Villanueva? At wala na bang makakasagot kung nasaan na si Homer Se? kagabi i was watching a sports special sa Channel 4 and the commentator said Marlou Aquino, who is the tallest daw sa PBA at 6'11", will eventually end up sa Ginebra. Well, the last time na officially nasukat siya ay nuong rookie year niya. Edited September 3, 2011 by photographer Quote Link to comment

Siyempre asang-asa ang magaling nilang coach na si jong na me Hatfield s'yang aasahan to provide energy and rebounding tapos wala pala, hasain na lang nila an skills ng nakuha nila sa draft and make the necesary trade para makakuha ng reliable na power forward or center Ano ba ang nangyari kay Villanueva? photographer
Caguioa, 5 others get fresh deals from Ginebra By Nelson Beltran ( MANILA, Philippines – No less than six players, led by top gun Mark Caguioa, has been re-signed by Barangay Ginebra before starting its training tomorrow for the coming season under returning head coach Siot Tanquingcen. Caguioa inked a fresh two-year pact worth P8.4 million even as Eric Menk settled for a one-year contract-extension deal (P4.2 million) and Jayjay Helterbrand just for a one-conference agreement. With an assortment of injuries slowing him down in the last two years, Helterbrand wants to see how he fares in the first conference. "If he can't cope anymore, he might call it quits," SMC official Robert Non told The STAR. "He's thinking on returning to the United States. He said his daughter there is growing fast. He wants to be with her," Non also said. Helterbrand is 34 and has been in the league since 2000, reaching the pinnacle of his career in winning the MVP award in 2009. He's easily among the league's best in the last 10 years, gaining two Mythical Five honors, two All-Star MVP plums and twice making the national team roster (in Fiba Asia joust in Tokushima in 2007 and the Asian tilt in Tianjin in 2009). But injuries just won't spare the heady guard in the last two years. Rico Villanueva also signed a new contract, ready to plunge back into action having recovered from a knee injury. Ginebra also re-signed Yancy de Ocampo, thus, keeping a solid frontline rotation despite Rudy Hatfield's decision not to return anymore. Filling in the spot left by Hatfield is former FEU banger Reil Cervantes. Only Talk n Text and Petron Blaze remain in vacation with Ginebra opening training camp tomorrow. Both the Texters and the Boosters start preparing for the coming season on Sept. 14. The 2011-2012 PBA season kicks off with the Philippine Cup on Oct. 2. Despite health woes, the Kings fared well last season, finishing second in the Commissioner's Cup and narrowly missing the finals in the Governors Cup. photographer
or kay yancy...lol hahaha! Hopefully this Cervantes will live up to expectations as a banger na parang si Homer Se (huwag lang pikon) Quote Link to comment
