for us to better appreciate the figures quoted, might i suggest that posters also add how many years they have been working in their industry.

mahirap tumantsa sa mga titles, lalo na kung bagong tuntong ka pa lang sa isang position o hinog ka na for another promotion.

pasensya na lang kung magkakabukohan ng edad, hahaha.

Years in industry: Less than 6 years

Job: Manager - Call Center

Salary: 60K++

(note: salary range this depends on big OR small the company is, often times the smaller centers pay bigger. They need to do this to get more skilled workers but the downside is there's no security meaning projects/clients can easily pull out anytime. Does co-terminus sound familiar?)

Benefits: medical, dental, blah blah blah

Perks: -Boss

-I can choose good looking girls for my team

-I can come to work anytime I want

-Work is always challenging and will never be routine

-Unlimited skill enhancement training programs (also looks good in my resume)

-Travel a lot locally and to US

Reality bites: -Salary matches expected workload.

-Accountable for everything under my department.

-On call 24x5

-Travel a lot locally and to US - not as exciting as the first time.

-Lots of pretty girls but no touch because of sexual harrasment.

metals recovery and smelting plant

salary 2++++

perks

healthcare coverage incredible!!!

lots of trainings here and abroad

downside

shifting coz its production

mainit kasi tunawan ng bakal kakamatay lalo na pag summer

dangerous coz you operate a lot of heavy equipment.

in the end ok lang if your a engineering grad and want actual expirience in your field kakasira lang talaga and oras you cant turn off a furnace it runs 24/7 365 days a year tawad lang ang new year.

sounds like you're a metallurgical engineer dude! i am one! actually, i have the degree but i don't practice. have never been anywhere near a mine and have spent only three months for practicum in a casting plant.

If you're asking kung ok sa accenture...the answer's yes. I know some people working there (a couple of friends, one of them being my FB) and they seem to be enjoying their job. The pay's good as well as the benefits. The cons being long work hours and stress.  Hope I was of help.

BTW, Here's my two cents:

Profession: Government Architect

Salary: Not enough for the moment.

Perks: Flexible work load plus other benefits working in government.

Disadvantages: Not having the benefits of working in the private sector.

hi! im presently working at accenture and yah i agree with you ramonalito. its not that im an employee of the said company that's why im saying this. it is really based on my personal experience. ive worked with robinsons before and i can say that i found satisfaction with accenture.
