Medyo nagdadalawang isip ako kung kukunin ko itong 2nd issue na ito.. Sabi nga ng isang friend ko, if Playboy Philippines intended to put literature or interviews to be their selling point, dapat daw naging Reader's Digest Philippines na lang.. hahaha... I'll wait for Playboy Phil to make their 2nd issue a lot more daring, so they could compensate for the 1st boring issue. If they don't make things better for their readers, I'll bet my nice ass Playboy Philippines will die a natutral death. Philippine Playboy: toilet paper? Maxim, Uno, and FHM use better quality papers in their issues. I think it is a case of trying to walk the middle line to please everyone ... and ending up pleasing no one. Proof that it falls short of the Playboy tradition is the fact that it is being displayed in display windows along with other men's magazines. Here's my reasons why this mag is crap. Covergirl: 4 photos... 2 came from the same photog and 2 came from different photogs. Naturally, they have different shooting styles and processing styles. 2 of the photos came in clean while the rest are crap. They should've gotten a single photographer to shoot the covergirl. Heck, they should've gotten a more experienced photog at that. The lighting sucked big time. You could rent decent studio lights at cheaper prices. You could hire different photographers to shoot your covergirl but at least, when hiring your graphic artist, stick to just one. As for the other girls featured, they looked like they came from really cheap bars. Yung tipong ang beer eh 60 pesos lang at sila yung ka-table mo. There are a lot of aspiring models out there that looks WAAAAYYY better than them. Again, consistency. I don't see any with the photos of the other ladies.
