Mga Bossing.. meron pa bang meron pa bang PCI Video card sa inyo?? (note: not PCI-E Video Card)

I have to upgrade some of my aging computers here...

Specs:

Pentium III 598 MHz

256 SDRAM

Branded sya... Dell PowerEdge 1300 at PCI lang ang slots nya..

Since branded sya, very much in good condition pa sya!! (after 7 years) gusto ko lang i-upgrade ang video nya to run some games.

Can you please tell me kung meron pang makukuhang PCI Video dyan.. (at least 32MB ok lang) and how much is the price?

Thanks!

Better upgrade ur motherboard.. beside PCI video card is hard to find.. Meron ka mkkuha pero surplus lng..

hello MTC friend,

puedi ba ako magtanung kung paano ma open yung files and folder ko kz, nasa drive D:\backup files yun. kz yung PC ko nagkaroon ng Virus tapos format ko di bora lahat dibah...

ngayon di kona ma open yung file and folders ko sa D:\

Pls MTC friend, if you hav idea pls assist me. thanks

Drive D can't be affective when you only reformat your drive C coz its separate partition .. usually operating system is on drive C only.. not unless you reformat the 2 drive partition. i think your files in D are intact.. the only problem probably you dont install yet the right program, so that windows can open your files. ex. if the file is word doc. .. you must install office 2003 or 2007 first.

happy 3kings..

my question is regarding sa power supply.

im planning to buy a video card [GeForce 8400 GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16]

kaya lang ang minimum nyang required power is 300w.

ang prob ko is my CPU which is 300w >>

-gigabyte GA-G965MP-RH

-core 2 duo 6300 1.86 Ghz

-3 GB RAM

-360GB main & 500GB extra hard disk

-NVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS (currently using)

any suggestion??

thank you po sir..

imo, the psu is very important as it feeds power & protects all of your hardware. so, i suggest you get a good one (ie. HEC, corsair, etc). it protects your investment and is still usable when you upgrade. with regards to your query, i suggest you use a psu calculator such as this http://www.extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine to get an idea if your psu can hack your cpu requirements. hth.

if you're using windows xp recommended memory is 1gb for me...ehheheh

if you're only complaint is boot time... i suggest you download bootvis.exe from microsoft...its for xp boot optimization...

you can also edit the startup applicatioins...this will really increase your bootup time

my bootup times:

1. amd 1000 - 35seconds

2. intel e6750 - 45 seconds

i have Toshiba DYNABOOK SS2000 Laptop (Japan Version) P3 750Mhz.

Me availble b na Batt nito or Repak lng? How much?

Mabagal din mag boot do i need to upgrade my RAM from 256 to 1g? micro dimm b? How much?

Tnx!

how much memory do you have by the way? 1gb? 512mb?

generally speaking yes it might work..i read some articles saying ddr 400 is backwards compatible...

but it might not work..its a gamble..the mobo might not accept it.

time for you to upgrade...

or try asking the sos store in megamall they have old pc parts...

sir, wala po bang ill-effect kung gagamit ng DDR 400 memory module sa mother board that only accepts 266?

ganyan kasi ang dilemna ko, wala na akong mahanap na branded na 266 na 1gig.

thanks in advance.

actually wala po problem kung ddr400 is placed on a mobo that would handle only 266 pero sayang yung sobrang frequency.....capacity kasi ng ddr400 would be lowered to 266... but its pratically okey
