Overrated Nba/pba Players

do you think mananalo tayo sa ibang bansa w/o the help of these guys? sino-sino naman ang mga players na ipapadala ng pba kung gnun? actually mas ok pa nga minsan yung fil-am kahit na maliit lng allowance ng team pilipinas game pa din sila unlike other pure blooded pinoy like espino, aquino etc na ayaw sumali dhil maliit nga daw at baka ma-injured pa sila...

 

 

 

para di OT: tony dela cruz. imo, mas madaming mas magaling dito pero bkit kaya nakapasok sa team pilipinas to?

 

I concur, mas masipag pa ang mga Fil-Ams as compared to some pure Filipinos (i.e. aquino, espino), kaya nga hindi na ikinu-consider itong mga 'to sa RP team for the past several years because of their mentality. Regarding Dela Cruz, He is probably the best 3 guy around with the exception of Hatfield, that just my honest opinion..

Look at the statistic of his FG first before you say that he doesn't have a shot bro. Yeah, the announcers give him the monicker of King James but they didn't say that James has the same skill of LBJ! And he didn't say to the announcers that give that title to me! Are you watching UAAP? Even when he was still in UAAP he is already popular! He's already popular when he met Kris, He's already in the PBA in fact he's in 2nd in the overall draft pick! Are you saying that James won the MVP award because he's the husband of Kris? look at the stat man compare it with those who are also candicate for the MVP title :thumbsdownsmiley:

there were some rumours then about JY winning the uaap mvp then against AS of Feu...but looking at the lineup of FEU, aside from AS. they had catli, miranda, isip, chan, rizaldi?(dont remember his last name) plus koy banal! UE also had artadi and canaleta but the coaching staff weren't as good compared to FEU, they had only one play then...give the ball to JY. In effect, JY was the only UE superstar of the UAAP then compared to FEU who had designed plays for everybody.

jon ordonio isa rin sa pa high paid pero overrated. accomplishment? so bakit bumabagsak ang winning ng rp team sa basketball lately? as i said marlou and espino nagawa na nila ang part nila sa rp team. kelangan na ng mas bata. pero hindi ibig sabihin fil-shams. hindi ba mas nakakahiya yung binandera natin as national representative hindi pala tayo sure na pinoy? tulad ng nangyari kay taulava a month after winning bronze sa asian game sa korea nirelease ang papers na hindi sya pinoy. marlou and espino is aging players kaya mahirap icompare sya sa young half filipino na naglalaro ngayon.

for me kelly williams is the best guy who can play the 3 spot for the RP-Team. and for me, since K. Will is already in the line-up, ireplace na lng si Arwind kay tony dela cruz because even alaska didnt want to use this guy anymore... ewan ko ba pero parang bumagsak ang laro niya lately.

 

 

@ uaeboy25: what exposure are you talking about? ginamit mo pang example sila manu and dirk. exposure for NBA scouts ba? well, do you think ayaw din ng pure pinoy ng international exposure? but the sad thing here is that mas maarte pa sila sa mag fil-ams. and who dou you think can replace the fil-ams kung hindi nga sila pwede makapag laro sa RP-team? kung bawal ang half-blooded sa international competition edi napakarami ng hindi makakapag laro nyan.

exposure para makatanggap ng invitational.tulad ng ibang players na naglalaro na sa abroad. like bong alvares at vince hizon na naglaro sa amerika noon. as i said madaming pwedeng gawing representative sa basketball ang pinas. pwedeng kumuha sa uaap, pbl at ncaa kung talagang naigahan na.

 

 

kung hindi pala kaya wag na lang mag padala ng representative sa labas ng bansa. hindi masama half pinoy kaso hindi naman kaya iskandalo kung lately malaman na ang nakakuha ng medal is not pure pinoy? and to think na masyado tayong nagtiwala at naniwala na sila na ang pinakamalakas na "pilipinong basketbolista" nde pala pilipino.

 

funny thing is kung kelan pa nakapasok ang mga half pinoys sa philippines team is saka pa alang naiuwing medal. un ang overrated. overrated kasi sobrang laki ng sahod nila compare sa sahod ng purong pinoy. mas magaling si arwind santos kay finissi pero sure ako mas malaki sahod ni finissi kay arwind.

 

one thing i cant say na overrated si marlou aquino is he given his best for the country long time ago. asian game bronze medalist at seaba gold medalist. jones cup champion.

 

si grant hill overrated din kaya? hindi he played as a team usa and win gold medal. hindi lang sa loob ng nba sya nag champion. tulad ng pba player mas dapat kilalanin yung nagrepresent sa bansa ad put the country in to its highest position.

 

something in common ni marlou at grant hill? both of them ha a medal for their country. difference yung isa nainjured at yung isa parang takot mainjured.

well i doubt that. sabonis would help the blazers inside but they need to stop mj and the rest of the bulls.
