bikerider
huwaw mukhang tutuloy tuloy itong winning streak ah .. pacers.. mavericks... new orleans... hmmmmm siguro isa pa??? i hope that they can continue on with the win streak this week. pacers - most likely a win here, eastern conference opponents are usually much weaker. mavericks - have lost successive games to the hornets, spurs, lakers & the jazz and are behind the rockets at this point. hopefully their slump continues (sorry for the dallas fans out there). also this game is very important since tiebreakers might come in at the end of the season. hornets - much tougher on the 2nd night of a back to back. however houston beat them by 20 the last time out. yao was still there i think. hopefully t-mac & company will be inspired. tiebreaker importance also just like the mavs game. GO ROCKETS! :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment

bikerider
d lng ako updated sa news. anu nagyari kay yao? yao has a stress fracture in his left foot. just had surgery to repair the fracture and strengthen the foot. he is out for the rest of the season including the playoffs. (around 4 months minimum) :thumbsdownsmiley: . Quote Link to comment
SoulMTC
Im really worried about the maverick game... Its hard when dirk is mad.. did you see what he did to AK47??? hehehhe Quote Link to comment
kodyang
about the MAVS and Dirk, OT yata... merong thread para sa kanila. Yao just had a successful operation on his stressed fructure.Hope he could recover soon so he can support his country in the Olympics. Record-tying streak for the Rockets!!! WoW! Just pray that TMac remains healthy. Quote Link to comment
SoulMTC
@kodyang... was referring to the coming game of houston with dallas.. hope dirk wont do that to any rocket Quote Link to comment
TidusJanus
ingat na lang kaya kay dirk. Sa game nila against the Lakers, he slapped D.Fish in the face on a drive. He wasn't after the ball. He just hit fish just to stop him. Same thing happened to AK47. haha He was wobbly coming off that chokeslam/clothesline by Dirk. Quote Link to comment
kodyang
SoulMTC, point taken! yeah, hope he plays cleaner, baka si TMac ang matyempohan, hwag naman! NBA Commish doing anything about "Dirk's dirt"? Quote Link to comment
rafer_alston
DIRK can get away with that..mahal sya ni David Stern eh, hehehehe di ba sya MVP last year?? heheheh Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
DIRK can get away with that..mahal sya ni David Stern eh, hehehehe di ba sya MVP last year?? heheheh dirk mahal ni stern? WTF? props to the rockets though, they're still winning w/o yao, wonder how long will it last  Quote Link to comment
HansSolo
rockets are scorching.... i dont think dirk wanted to hurt AK47,, he just tried to save himself,, he was faked out so he had to hang on to anything he can hold... nasahod sya ika nga sa kanto ball... :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
rafer_alston
dirk mahal ni stern? WTF? props to the rockets though, they're still winning w/o yao, wonder how long will it last  ayaw mo maniwala pre ah, hehheheh si Stern galit kay Cuban pero mahal nya si Dirk...di ba dapat MV3 si Nash or dapat kay Kobe na yun pero kay Dirk binigay?? hehehe Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
ayaw mo maniwala pre ah, hehheheh si Stern galit kay Cuban pero mahal nya si Dirk...di ba dapat MV3 si Nash or dapat kay Kobe na yun pero kay Dirk binigay?? hehehe Stern had to look for another white guy. it was stupid for the league to give Nash his 3rd straight MVP trophy... even MJ didn't do that, so came dirk. good timing pa nga for the 60+ win season T-MAC FOR MVP! not Quote Link to comment
yubiakira
hanggang kailan nde maglalaro si Yao Ming? without him mahihirapan ang Rockets sa play offs. T Mac can't do it alone. Quote Link to comment
howard_the_duck
4 months ang recovery time ni yao Quote Link to comment
Eddy Syet
4 months ang recovery time ni yao Oo nga. Season-ending talaga. He can play daw sa Olympics. Quote Link to comment

jerzz
Gotta give some love to the houston rockets they are surviving without Yao. Old man Mutombo is holding down the fort pretty good, as well as the rookies. Mutumbo is a better defender and rebounder than Yao Ming. In his last 3 games he is averaging 3.3 pts, 8 rebs & 4 blocks on 21min playing time. Quote Link to comment
benjied
Mutumbo is a better defender and rebounder than Yao Ming. In his last 3 games he is averaging 3.3 pts, 8 rebs & 4 blocks on 21min playing time. While I agree that Mutombo is a much better defender, come playoff time I think Houston would need another reliable scorer.Plus I don't think that additional playing time for Mutombo will be good for him. I believe that the 20-25mins he plays a game is just enough for him to play efficiently. Anymore minutes and I think he would be a liability. That's why I think the stepping up of players like Landry and Scola are crucial in Houstons campaign run into the playoffs. Quote Link to comment
Eddy Syet
I give credit to Mutombo for holding the fort, so to speak... but it's not just him. It's the other Houston front court players as well like Scola, etc. But I'm afraid I have to agree that this current front line won't be able to stand very long in the playoffs. Quote Link to comment
