I actually have a friend who got depressed after a breakup from a long relationship. And true enough the gut phenomenon was real. He even described his frequent abdominal belching when they were together to a point where he even need to frequently fart inside the car, of course they took it for fun but it just got worse overtime even at dates in resto he even felt like vomiting or the urge to poop. Only to find out from his ex confession that he had been cheated multiple times. Personally I had a terrible cheater ex and she always gave me a very uncomfortable feeling whenever I’m with her, I dumped that girl like a plague and never look back.
