qrv777
how do you install the installer.app?? any program that I need? will this work in 1.1.1? Edited December 10, 2007 by qrv777 Quote Link to comment
fry
Installer.app IS the program itself! Head on to http://www.jailbreakme.com from your iPhone's Safari browser if it hasn't been jailbroken yet. After which head on to (from your computer) http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/ . Simply follow the directions to get Installer. app on your phone. Quote Link to comment

Thanks Check the 4th and 5th digits of your phone's serial number. If it's 45 or greater , then you are sh*t out of luck. That phone is currently unhackable. If it's 44 or less however, you could still downgrade to 1.1.1 and start the jailbreak/unlock process from there. Quote Link to comment

fry
Used iPhones (pre week 45) actually sell at least $100 more than new phones at Apple and AT&T stores in the States believe it or not! But yeah, RM 2,650 (PHP32,000, $700+) is overkill. I think unlocked iPhones in the Philippine market sell at just around PHP 28,000. Now is actually NOT a good time to buy an iPhone. The second generation 3G iPhone is expected to be announced at next month's Macworld. Also, I heard rumors that a certain local carrier may soon start to offer the iPhone. Quote Link to comment

Guest airmax
kung balak nyong bumili ng iphone and you plan to use it only for texting instead of calling. i suggest wag na lang kayo bumili. kung nasanay ka sa nokia maiinis ka sa texting pagka gamit mo iphone kaya ako panay tawag na lang ginagawa ko sa iphone ko. opinion ko lang ito with those hacked iphones that are coming out in manila hindi halos lahat ng features mapapakinabangan mo. para sa akin kasi sayang lang ang isang bagay kung hindi mo rin mapapakinabangan totally. ang iphone ko dito nagagamit ko halos lahat ng features. except sa stocks di naman kasi ako nagiinvest sa stocks dito.
