Sam1226
I have a question. Hindi ko pa napapakinggan so far ang mga tirades nila against the incumbent President regarding the transpo aspect after the first 3 months in office. Ang pahaging laging pag mag traffic report sila, from Antipolo to Marikina ay 3 hours. If you know, Ted Failon. Every time na naka tune-in ako sa kanya palagi nya iniinterview yung mga taga LTO, MMDA, ganyan. Kahit yung iba ding DZMM anchors hindi mawawala ang salitang TRAFFIC kahit showbiz oriented na yung genre ng program or music genre, something like that. Please give me clear picture of Metro Manila before. Thanks. Quote Link to comment

That should be strictly regulated. Like what was posted here before, may isasagawang dynamometer test para ma check ang car chasis. If mag fail daw, dapat hindi na siya subject for license renewal. I have no direct knowledge on laws pero if political will lang yan, masasala talaga ang number of vehicles, kahit ang mga nasa province, mag iisip ng 1000 times before going to Manila. Maybe some of them are afford to buy a car. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
full carbarn kpag coding wlang window hour kso bagsakan ang DP ng mga kotse ngayon 25K may vios kna hanef. itaas ang tax sa mga kotse at lagyan ng lifespan ng 10years after that ipabuy back sa manufacturer para dalin sa ibang bansa or reused all the parts na pwede pa then scrap na yung ibang parte wag ng tumanggap ng second hand vehicle sa freeport khit anong klase kahit luxury cars Quote Link to comment
NooB
Quote Link to comment
Sam1226
The implementation of no window hour will implement earlier (Oct.17) and the areas was expanded such as Makati, Las Pinas, Roxas Boulevard and Alabang Zapote Road. 7 am to 7 pm pa din ang susunding oras. Quote Link to comment
Doctor Juris
yung mga dapat ayusin pero ayaw galawin. 1. mga puv na barumbado sa kalye. dapat may jeep at bus lanes at talaga hulihin ang mga lumalabag lalo na sa q Ave/Espana.2. mga puv na lumalabag sa one way lalo na mga trikes na sila pa ang galit pag sinisita3. blocking the intersections. mga enforcer pa nag papa abante at hinaharang ang intersection minsan. tapos pag bara na hindi alam ano gagawin.4. disregard of traffic lights/traffic rules. common offense kahit may enforcers. counterflow of trikes and pedicabs. Correction: will start Anyway, napansin ko lang as of 6 am, heavy traffic na sa EDSA South Bound, according to Interaksyon website. Marami ba talaga workers from North going to South? Light to moderate pa yung North Bound, so far. Parang Christmas light. Quote Link to comment
haroots2
Do you think tama ba yung magiging policy ng DOTR na walang window hour ang mga private cars sa EDSA and C5? I agree to this implementation. Wala na kasing pinipiling oras ang traffic. Quote Link to comment
wolflove_bigdawg
Traffic can only go worse because the streets are not going to expand while the number of vehicles and the population increases everyday. Even if you implement coding, people will just buy another car with a different plate number ending (which will further increase the total number of new cars which will aggravate parking problems in sidewalks for people who don't have garage which will worsen traffic in sidestreets and streets in subdivisions being opened to traffic). There are some solutions of course but it entails a lot of cash and political will. Quote Link to comment
calvinzero
The senate should just f#&king give Duterte emergency powers. Quote Link to comment

Barenaked-NoMre
For those in the provinces ... they think that they have a CHANCE in the "cities" especially Metro Manila. So, they come to better themselves ... in education, skills training or employment. Companies need to SPREAD their wings ... offer jobs in the other "cities". Some BPOs do ... This is a problem that stems from many other factors/reasons ... population, POOR urban planning and govt policies (concerning car mfg companies ... esp that of Pnoy. My sister works for a company ... she reports to a board which oversees the other companies including a known car manufacturer. Apparently, she knows that Pnoy's admin/co-horts ... made a DEAL with these car companies to produce/sell by a certain quota in exchange for tax cuts.) So ... that's the MESS that Pnoy did. And some LGUs or other govt offices ... still as CORRUPT as ever. Edited October 28, 2016 by Barenaked-NoMre Quote Link to comment

Quote Link to comment

Those 3 new roads will absorb the chaotic traffic of EDSA and C5. Maybe we will feel the remedy for 5-10 years from now. But, I hope na may gagawin na ang government against the old vehicles. Both public and private. Of course, efficient train services should be the priority. The problem is madaling bumili ng mga equipments like wagon trains among others but mahirap ang maintenance. Magastos siya. Look out to the equipment sa AFP. Di ba? Quote Link to comment
