hitman531ph
Talks about bringing in Kevin Federline and other celebrities for a battle royale at Wrestlemania 24 have died down. Fortunately, it won't be happening. Management is starting to sour on the idea of having Jonathan Coachman as the color commentator on Smackdown. It's easy to tell he didn't like the job. Boogeyman has been recovering from a calf injury. WWE is really in no rush for him to return because the writing team doesn't have a storyline for him. There is some backstage resentment towards Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather’s pay for Wrestlemania has ruffled a few feathers. While it’s still not entirely certain that Floyd Mayweather is actually getting paid $20 million, he’s still getting a sizable amount of money from WWE. It’s enough money to lower the payout for the WWE roster. We understand that spending money on Floyd Mayweather is spending money to market Wrestlemania. He better come through and deliver the goods. Otherwise, WWE would have just alienated their employees without much of a gain. Batista was at a UFC event over the weekend. At UFC 82: The Pride of a Champion, Batista was shown on camera. Announcer Mike Goldberg, who was once rumored to eventually replace Jim Ross on Monday Night Raw, made a reference to the friendship between Batista and Brock Lesnar. Interestingly enough, Batista was booed by the audience. Wonder why the audience booed Batista. Steve Austin and Kurt Angle received cheers from the audience at the UFC event in Las Vegas. Brock Lesnar will be fighting Mark Coleman next. On the very same night that Mark Coleman was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, he announced that he would be coming out of retirement. He has signed a 4 fight deal, and the first opponent will be Brock Lesnar. The fight will happen on August 9, 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. There’s a lot of wrestling fans who are still bitter at Brock Lesnar for leaving wrestling, but you can’t deny the fact that he’s been a tremendous marketing figure for UFC. Think about it. Retired hall of fame fighter coming back to fight the former professional wrestler in his hometown. That’s how you create a buzz. John Cena has heat on him backstage for his comments about the Rock. Recently, John Cena made some very public comments about the Rock. He stated that he didn’t like how the Rock didn’t come back to wrestling often enough for his fans. Well, sources state that he has been receiving some heat recently for those comments from the veteran wrestlers. The heat might be a bit exaggerated. John Cena isn’t the only person that feels this way about the Rock. He’s just the only person that has publicly called out the Rock. Quote Link to comment

beastmode
I hope WWE is not serious. With all due respect to the Pambansang Kamao, lets just let his fists do the talking. Pero kung may pinoy ulit na papasok sa WWE, were better off with Brandon Vera. Go Pinoy! Quote Link to comment

MODERATOR tamago Posted March 11, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted March 11, 2008 (edited) Jeff Hardy has done it again He has violated the WWE's Wellness Policy for the 2nd time. Cuz of this, he was stripped of the Intercontinental Championship (he lost it to Y2J at Raw), and he will no longer compete in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match at WM24. He has been suspended for 60 days. Old habits die hard for Jeff :thumbsdownsmiley: Edited March 12, 2008 by tamago Quote Link to comment

yubiakira
sayang si Bill Goldberg nag retire na sa wrestling. 41 years old pa lang siya -pero in active na siya sa prof wrestling after 2004. isa siya sa electrifying wrestlers lalo na sa entrance pa lang. may fans all over the world at talagang may skills for wrestling pero ngayon commntator na sa MMA. he can still compete if he decides to go back at sana he considers come out of retirement & go back to WWE. rsc1221
It was announced during tonight's ECW taping that a 24-man battle royale featuring wrestlers from all three brands will be taking place during WrestleMania. The winner will then challenge Chavo Guerrero for the ECW title during the very same show. There was talk of doing the battle royal and/or the ECW title match as dark matches to only be shown on the WrestleMania DVD release, but now they're combining the two for the big show. CM Punk is reportedly back in the dog house. The road agents aren't particularly fond of his wrestling style, they believe that he's a mark for himself, and he's gotten some bad house show reports in recent weeks stating that he's inconsistent and sloppy. The reaction regarding Jeff Hardy's 60-day suspension is pretty much unanimous among a number of his current and former co-workers. Hardly any of them have much sympathy for Hardy in his current situation. The general concensus among them believe that he's an "idiot" for blowing a golden opportunity with the company. One former co-worker of Hardy summed things up by saying, "He doesn't take anything seriously and doesn't seem to care that he is his own worse enemy. He thinks rules don't apply to him and lives in a completely different world than the rest of us. If he hasn't gotten the message by now, he never will." As noted earlier, Hardy has been removed from Wrestlemania as he will not be participating in the Money In The Bank match at the show. Furthermore, one more violation of WWE's Wellness policy will result in Hardy being let go. Quote Link to comment
