- It is being reported by Jason Powell that Floyd Mayweather's appearance at No Way Out yesterday wasn't a one-off deal and that the boxing superstar is scheduled to wrestle at Wrestlemania.

Mayweather is likely to be partnered by Rey Mysterio, if he is cleared to compete, in a tag-team match against Big Show and a tag partner.

Nothing is set in stone at the moment but the creative team are said to be working with numerous possibilities, with Shane McMahon and MVP touted as possible partners to team with Show.

Kurt Angle lost the IWGP 3rd Generation Championship to Shinsuke Nakamura. The belt was unified with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

Steve Austin is said to be a disappointed with how Ric Flair's retirement storyline has turned out. This wasn't really what he had in mind when he came up with it.

Big Show actually suffered a legitimate broken nose last night at the hands of boxer Floyd Mayweather. The punches were especially stiff.

Kane worked a dark match prior to the No Way Out pay per view. He defeated Shelton Benjamin by pinfall after nailing a choke slam.

Mick Foley may be brought back to feud with Umaga over the summer.

Mick Foley has been trying to make a comeback with WWE for a while now, but for some reason, Vince McMahon has not particularly been too fond of the idea. He did work briefly in the Royal Rumble this year.

Right now, management is working on plans to have him feud with Umaga for a few months to help get the young Samoan over. In the past, Mick Foley has done a good job in elevating Edge and Randy Orton. The hope is that he can do it again for Umaga.

Lindsay Lohan was backstage at WWE Monday Night Raw.

Lindsay Lohan took a few pictures with Maria Kanellis, Candice Michelle, Shane McMahon, Floyd Mayweather, and Rey Mysterio. She also had a conversation with John Cena. Plus, Lindsay Lohan took the time to meet with a few fans as well.

Nice marketing move by WWE. You can expect to see this being covered by the gossip websites and magazines soon.

WWE had meetings today to decide Floyd Mayweather’s involvement at Wrestlemania.

Earlier today, WWE had several discussions in regards to how to utilize Floyd Mayweather at Wrestlemania. Right now, he is confirmed for the event. Sources also state that he will more than likely be physically involved in a match.

The strong rumors right now list Rey Mysterio, MVP, and Shane McMahon as possible candidates to be involved in the Wrestlemania segment with Floyd Mayweather. Rey Mysterio’s involvement is highly dependent on his health. MVP’s involvement doesn’t really make a lot of sense because he should be defending his WWE United States Heavyweight Championship against Matt Hardy.

Floyd Mayweather, a professional boxer, is scheduled to appear tonight on Monday Night Raw. The Big Show is scheduled for an appearance as well.

Sean Waltman has checked himself into a rehab center.

Sean Waltman, also known as Syxx and X-Pac, has checked himself into a rehab center somewhere in Texas. Sources state that the rehab is being paid in full by WWE.

When WWE was under the microscope from the media in regards to early deaths in wrestling, the company decided to counteract that by offering to pay for rehab for any wrestler that has ever worked for them.

Sean Waltman becomes the 4th wrestler to accept WWE’s offer. Ron Simmons, Jake “the Snake” Roberts, and Scott Hall.

Trish Stratus will be in attendance at an upcoming MMA event.

On Saturday night, Maximum Fighting Championship will be doing the finals of their “Ring’s Card Girl Search”. Trish Stratus will be a celebrity judge for the event. The event will take place at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Alberta, Canada.

For those of you that are still wondering, Trish Stratus has expressed no interest in returning to wrestling at the moment. She is still enjoying her time away from the business.

WWE is now seriously considering holding Wrestlemania in Mexico.

Sources state that WWE is considering holding Wrestlemania in Mexico City in 2009 or 2010.

Vince McMahon has long wanted Wrestlemania to appear to be a worldwide phenomenon. In many ways, it already is because the entire world watches the annual wrestling extravaganza. It becomes even more of a worldwide phenomenon if the event was actually held around the world.

Japan may be out of the question right now because WWE hasn’t particularly impressed the fan base there. However, we can easily see WWE holding a Wrestlemania in England as well. They might even be able to do one in Thailand since they are wildly popular there.

Hulk Hogan Says He Wants To Fight Ric Flair At WrestleMania

Just days after claiming that he is on the verge of starting his own wrestling promotion with Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan now says that he wants to fight Ric Flair at WrestleMania.

Hogan told MTV.com, "they need a main event real bad, brother" and said WWE still has a lot of tickets to sell. Hogan said that with Flair's career on the line, it's the perfect match to have - and he even has an idea for who could be the special guest referee. “Either he’ll put me out for good or I’ll put him out for good. One or the other. That would be the match of the new millennium. Hogan vs. Flair. Maybe get Vince McMahon as a special guest referee. Me and Flair both hate Vince.”

With the involvement of boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania, it looks like Hogan has realized that WrestleMania will be a success with or without him. With minimal leverage, he's putting his cards on the table and showing that he does still want a piece of the action.

the original flair/michaels plan is much better than this :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley:

Voodoo Kin Mafia may be returning to WWE.

Kip James (formerly known as Billy Gunn) and BG James (formerly known as Road Dogg) have been telling people that they may be going back to WWE. The tag team division in WWE is pretty thin and inexperienced right now, so it would make sense to add a veteran team like the former New Age Outlaws. These two guys still perform as well as they used when they were a part of Degeneration X.

Interestingly enough, TNA management has informed them that they’re free to leave if they wished.

Nick Dinsmore did a segment in OVW where Eugene was just a dream.

Nick Dinsmore needed a creative way to return to his original “Mr Wrestling” gimmick of the “retarded wrestler” gimmick that he was doing in WWE (Eugene). So, they came up with a storyline where he would wake up and realize that Eugene’s entire time in WWE was just a dream of his.

Got to say that this is a brilliant idea. Continuity is a good thing. Maybe now we’ll get to see Nick Dinsmore being one of the best in-ring performers in the business again.

Hulk Hogan is pushing for a match against Ric Flair at Wrestlemania.

Hulk Hogan has pitched an idea where he wrestles Ric Flair at Wrestlemania this year. He believes that Wrestlemania is in need of a big time match.

Wrestlemania buy rates should be pretty good this year, so it makes sense for Hulk Hogan to want to jump on the bandwagon. He usually draws one of the biggest Wrestlemania bonus checks when he works the event. In fact, he makes more on a simple appearance than a lot of the guys that work matches at Wrestlemania.

Oscar De La Hoya has rejected WWE’s offer.

WWE made an offer to Oscar De La Hoya to be involved in the program with rival boxer Floyd Mayweather and the Big Show. It’s a program that Shane McMahon has been working on for nearly a year.

Oscar De La Hoya turned down the offer. He will continue to train for his next fight.

Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya are scheduled for another boxing match later on this year.

Kevin Federline may be brought back at Wrestlemania for a match.

There’s an idea being tossed around by WWE management right now to do a celebrity battle royale at Wrestlemania. The main focus of the match would be on Kevin Federline.

We understand the desire to have celebrities at Wrestlemania, but this might just be way too much. Floyd Mayweather should be more than enough for the event.

As of late, it appears as if Christian Cage has been unmotivated. There are talks that he's not too happy with his situation in TNA.

Second Fiddle

Christian Cage has not come out and stated that he was unhappy, but it wouldn't be all that difficult to understand why if he did.

He's stuck playing the role of second fiddle in a storyline that doesn't particularly make him look good.

TNA had a great thing going for a while when Christian Cage was running around with his Christian Coalition stable. Their segments were entertaining, the interviews were hilarious, and Christian Cage was motivated.

Then, they made the switch to focus more on Kurt Angle.

They accomplished their goal of shocking fans by having AJ Styles and Tomko turning on Christian Cage and joining Kurt Angle's Angle Alliance. However, the storyline's momentum died shortly afterwards because it just didn't feel right.

Don't get us wrong. Christian Cage still puts on solid matches and great interviews. It's just that he has't had that fire in his eyes since the Christian Coalition split.

To say that TNA dropped the ball on this would be pretty fair. They had two of the best performers in the business on the heel side of things. They could have switched off on them playing the lead role to keep things fresh, but they didn't.

Nowhere to Go

There were reports a few months ago that Christian Cage was on the verge of leaving the company. TNA president Dixie Carter made an offer to every single wrestler in the locker room that they could leave the company if they were unhappy. A few people expected Christian Cage to be one of those that left, but he didn't. Only Ron Killings and Senshi took the offer to leave.

Some people have speculated that Christian Cage would like to return to WWE, but that wouldn't make much sense right now. His good friend Chris Jericho recently made a return to WWE. Unfortunately for him, though, he went from being a main event wrestler to being a mid card wrestler in record time. Christian Cage wouldn't fare any better if he would return to WWE.

ROH sounds like an interesting place for Christian Cage to go. However, it wouldn't work out in the long term. First of all, ROH would not be able to afford his salary. The company is currently making financial cuts right now. Plus, their pay per view business has been faced with a setback. They're going to need to regroup, which doesn't sound like a situation suitable for Christian Cage.

Japan has been a good place for American wrestlers without a place to go. Christian Cage's talents, though, would be somewhat wasted. His greatest skills are his theatrics. His ability to tell a story on the mic and entertaining with his natural sense of humor would probably not go over too well in Japan. He also doesn't have an imposing physique like Tomko and Giant Bernard have either.

parang may bad blood sina Billy Gunn & Rad Dogg with WWE owner Vince Mac Mahon. natatandaan ko pa na during show sa TNA hinahamon nila kahit sinong superstar sa WWE in a match para magkaalaman kung sino mas magaling na company. umalis sila sa WWE na masama ang loob. sa WWE naman sumasagot si Triple H with HBK at may palabas pa na nakasakay sila sa tank in front of TNT building accepting war sa dating WCW. kung gus2 nila bumalik sa WWE tanggin kaya sila ni Vince?

Bobby Lashley is still being paid by WWE.

As part of the agreement on his release, WWE has agreed to pay Bobby Lashley his full contract until the end of May. In exchange, Bobby Lashley will not be allowed to jump to TNA during that time period.

Recently, Kurt Angle and Booker T have been pushing TNA to bring in Bobby Lashley. He’s been said to be leaning more toward TNA than a career in MMA.

Must be nice to be able to sit at home and receive a hefty WWE paycheck without doing anything.

The Rock was at the Academy Awards as a presenter.

The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) presented the award for Best Visual Effects. He made a joke about the scene from Raiders of the Lost Arc. The nominees were Transformer and Pirates of the Carribean. The Golden Compass ended up winning.

Watching him at these awards show should help k*ll rumors of his wrestling return, but for some reason, it doesn’t. Goes to show you how much wrestling fans want him back.

Vince McMahon was invited by Congress to speak.

WWE chairman Vince McMahon was invited to speak at a congressional hearing on February 27, 2008. The hearing in Washington DC was meant to address to the health of athletes undermining the integrity of competition (basically steroids abuse).

Vince McMahon declined the invitation. He stated that his attorney was not available that day.

Smart move by Vince McMahon to not show up. He would have basically been made to look bad, especially considering there’s so many bad things that have happened in pro wrestling involving deaths and drugs over the past few months.

Booker T has been working with the NBA for promotional reasons.

Booker T has been promoting his wrestling company, the PWA, through the NBA. More specifically, he has been promoting through his hometown NBA team, the Houston Rockets.

Pretty smart move by Booker T. He’s a smart businessman. The PWA is currently one of the top independent wrestling companies around. Always good to see pro wrestlers having other business ventures to fall back upon.

John Cena will begin shooting his new movie on Monday.

Shooting begins on Monday for “12 Rounds”, the latest movie from WWE Films. The movie, which stars John Cena, will be shot in Louisiana. He isn’t expected to miss much time from WWE since he’s needed to help promote Wrestlemania.

On a side note, there were some wild rumors going around the internet that Al Pacino was going to be involved with this movie, but that has proven to be false.
