Melina, meanwhile, announced to the WWE audience that she is suing Batista for sexual harassment. In RAW, a special New Year's Revolution show is up. An Elimination Chamber match is scheduled where 6 men are in a cage match. It'll be Kane vs Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels vs WWE Champion John Cena vs Chris Masters vs Carlito. WWE Champion John Cena defends his title in the Elimination Chamber. After this, he grabbed a rifle and shot it off screen, implying suicide.The following that occurred after was NOT part of the skit: 1. Local police received 1, 000 calls regarding the suicide.2. WWE first challenges Gordon’s right to make the claim, citing the fact that he did nothing to air his concerns during the bankruptcy proceedings. Rumor has it that Spike TV is helping TNA management pay for Sting’s salary. Rumor has it that Kane will challenge Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. Rumor has it that WWE has offered a 5 year contract to Paul Heyman. Right now, Heyman doesn’t want to be a part of either Raw or Smackdown, and he would rather stick to the developmental territory or to ECW-related projects. Maria is now dating WWE developmental talent CM Punk. Booker T has suffered a legitimate injury during his match against Matt Hardy. The 2 were supposed to have their 7th match at the Royal Rumble, but now it seems that things need to be changed. With Eddie Guerrero’s death and Johnny Ace’s management style all making working for the company feel more like an obligation rather than a dream, morale in the WWE locker room has really dropped. Many top WWE names are unimpressed, and a lot of veterans are disappointed over the poor training among the many young wrestlers.Chris Benoit has kept to himself a lot lately after Guerrero’s death. His contract will be up for renewal soon, and many are anticipating his next move regarding this, since he is respected for making the right decisions based on circumstances.Also after Guerrero’s death, Tajiri put things in perspective and decided to move back to Japan.Matt Hardy has been flying under the radar ever since his return. He has been showing up for work without saying anything, but many feel that he regrets re-signing with the company. It is reported that he still keeps an eye on TNA to see “what could have been” if he had signed up with the number 2 company. Gregory Helms will start a feud with Jerry “the King” Lawler this month. It was reported that Randy Orton got into a confrontation with a fan during a house show. The fans allegedly insulted Orton about him going AWOL, then Orton retaliated by insulting the military and challenged the fan to a fight. It is reported that the WWE is interested in bringing back Chuck Palumbo, Aaron Aguilera aka Jesus, and Charlie Haas. Rumor has it that former TNA wrestler Sonny Siaki has signed up with the WWE. If this is true, it is unknown if he’ll go directly into the WWE or he’ll go to the developmental brands. WWE has shown interested in Samoa Joe & tried to recruit him. Unfortunately, they wanted him to change his style to a slower one, which didn’t sit well with him. Samoa Joe was already signed a new deal with TNA.
