WWE WrestleMania 23: Money In The Bank Ladder MatchParticipants: Jeff Hardy, King Booker, Finlay, CM Punk, Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Randy Orton, Edge

Edge is the last to the ring; moments after his entrance, the wrestlers go at it. Most of the wrestlers end up on the outside; Finlay goes up top and jumps on all of them. Meanwhile, Edge brings a ladder into the ring and tries to go for the briefcase. Matt Hardy thwarts his attempt.

The action moves forward, and Jeff Hardy starts climbing up the ladder, but Kennedy knocks him off. On the outside, CM Punk is using a step ladder to take it to King Booker and Jeff Hardy, but Edge stops him.

Inside the ring, King Booker goes at it with Matt Hardy. He tosses Hardy to the outside, then disposes of Kennedy, CM Punk and Finlay. He throws in a spinneroonie, but the Hardys take him out with a pair of ladders. Edge knocks Jeff Hardy down, but Matt slams Edge to the mat.

Matt Hardy tries to set Edge up on the ladder for a Jeff Hardy aerial strike, but Finlay knocks Jeff off the top and to the outside. As the action progresses, Kennedy sets Matt Hardy up on a ladder and goes for a Kenton. He misses, hits the ladder, and then falls victim to a swanton from Jeff Hardy. The Hardys collectively use the ladders take out their opposition, and then simultaneously climb for the briefcase. As they get to the top, they start going at it. While stalled, Finlay knocks the ladder over and sends them flying.

Finlay knocks CM Punk and Booker down, but Edge spears him. He then spears Randy Orton. Then Booker. Then Kennedy. Then Matt Hardy. Then Jeff Hardy. He goes for one on CM Punk, but Punk dodges the attack and Edge's shoulder hits the post. CM Punk does the spinning ladder spot to knock some guys down, but Edge eventually spears him (and the ladder is knocked into the faces of Finlay and Orton).

Edge sets up the ladder and goes for the briefcase, but Orton pushes the ladder over and sends Edge to the outside. Jeff Hardy then comes in and suplexes Randy Orton.

Jeff Hardy has the ring to himself, but instead of going for the briefcase, he pulls off an incredible spot—he climbs up the ladder, and then jumps to the outside, landing on Edge (who Matt Hardy set up horizontally on the ladder, which he propped up between the ring and the security rail). The ladder snaps in half under Edge; both men appear out cold, and the stretcher is brought down for Edge.

Inside the ring, Randy Orton connects with a series of RKOs. He sets up a ladder for his ascent to the top, but before he can climb, CM Punk attacks him with a ladder and makes his own climb to the top. But, before he can grab the briefcase, Orton climbs up and connects with an RKO.

King Booker then tries climbing up the ladder. Orton gets up and tries for another RKO, but Booker counters and lands a Book End off the ladder.

Booker goes back up, but Matt Hardy's also there and fights Booker from the ladder. Sharmell comes in and pulls Hardy down, but Hardy grabs her and threatens to execute a Twist of Fate on her—Booker is forced to abandon his attempt for the briefcase and come to her aid. As he does so, Hardy counters and sends him out of the ring.

Hardy goes back up for the briefcase, but Finlay comes in and knocks Matt Hardy off. He then scores a Celtic Cross, dropping Hardy's back onto another ladder that's positioned in the ring.

The Little Bastard comes and tries to climb up the ladder to win the belt for Finlay, but Kennedy arrives before he can get up to the top. The Bastard punches Kennedy a few times, but Kennedy picks him up and slams him from the top of the ladder.

As Kennedy gets up, Finlay slams a ladder into Kennedy's face. He sets up for another climb to the top, but CM Punk gets there before he can make it for the prize. CM Punk then climbs up the ladder, but before he can grab the briefcase, Kennedy returns to his senses and fights Punk at the top. Punk knocks Kennedy off the top, but Kennedy comes right back and drives another ladder into Punk's face, knocking the ECW wrestler off before he can grab the case.

Kennedy then climbs up and grabs the briefase, winning the match and scoring himself a guaranteed title shot.

Winner: Mr. Kennedy

They trade back and forth in the ring; Benoit soon sets MVP up atop the ropes. He nails MVP with some chops to the chest, and then sets up for a superplex. Stephanie McMahon, who was with her daughter, came into Vince McMahon's office. McMahon talked to the baby and, in a very creepy "cute" voice, talked about how he's going to bash Donald Trump's head in.

WWE WrestleMania 23: Battle of the Billionaires

Bobby Lashley (representing Donald Trump) vs. Umaga (representing Vince McMahon)

A barber's station rolls down to the ring.

The current Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA are at ringside—they boo Vince McMahon as he comes down to the ring.

Umaga, with Estrada, then makes his way down.

Donald Trump, escorted to the ring by Tara Conner, comes down to the ring as money falls from the ceiling. His entrance could not be less enthusiastic.

Lashley made his way to ringside; Steve Austin followed.

The action starts, and Lashley goes right to Umaga. Austin tries to break Lashley's offense in the corner, but Lashley's furious.

Lashley gets a nearfall; broken as Estrada puts Umaga's leg on the ropes. Lashley, furious, pulls Estrada into the ring and issues a powerslam. He then tosses Estrada to the outside.

Umaga, from behind, tries to attack Lashley, but Lashley ducks and Umaga goes flying to the outside.

The action comes back inside, and Umaga's dominating Lashley.

Umaga's offense includes some bodydrops from off the middle rope. He then hits a Samoan drop on Lashley, before delivering a kick to Lashley's midsection.

Umaga brings Lashley to his feet, and Lashley tries to counter with a bodyslam, but he falls backwards and Umaga ends up with a nearfall. Vince McMahon gets on the apron, but he gets knocked to the floor when Lashley runs into the ropes.

Umaga's still in control inside, but as he goes up to the top rope, Lashley presses Umaga from off the top rope.

Both men are down - but before Austin can get to ten, he stops counting. He decides he's not going to call for a countout.

Shane hits the ringside area to check on Vince.

They finally get back up, and Umaga's going to work on Lashley in the corner. Austin pulls Umaga off to break the hold; he hooks Umaga's eye in the process. An angry Umaga drops Austin with a Samoan spike.

Umaga and Shane McMahon then doubleteam Lashley inside the ring, since there's no referee to stop them.

Shane McMahon sets up a garbage can on Lashley for the Van Terminator; he connects, driving the garbage can into Lashley's face.

McMahon then pulls his shirt off to reveal a referee uniform underneath. Umaga hits Lashley from off the top rope, but before Shane can count to three, Austin pulls Shane from the ring.

Austin re-enters the ring, but Umaga's waiting for him with another strike. McMahon taunts the downed Austin, but Trump suddenly comes from behind and tackles McMahon.

Austin gets up, dodges another Umaga attack, and delivers the stunner. Lashley connects with a spear and gets the three count for a victory. (Note: They actually rang the bell slightly before Austin counted three).

Winner: Lashley (Donald Trump's representative). Vince McMahon will be shaved bald.Austin brings Vince McMahon into the ring to begin the shaving process. Shane McMahon, out of desperation, attacks Austin, but Austin fights back and delivers a stunner.

During the distraction, however, Vince McMahon escapes from ringside and tries to make his way up the ramp. Bobby Lashley chases and retrieves McMahon. He throws McMahon back into the ring, where Steve Austin is waiting with a Stone Cold Stunner. He and Lashley then strap Vince McMahon to the chair as Donald Trump grabs the razor.

Lashley also takes a razor, and the two begin shaving the WWE Chairman bald. McMahon begs them to stop shaving, but they refuse. They then cover McMahon's head in shaving cream as they work for the closer shave.

Vince McMahon cries as Lashley lets him free from the barber's chair. McMahon freaks out when Lashley introduces the WWE Chairman to his reflection in the mirror.

While celebrating in the middle of the ring with beer, Steve Austin delivers a stunner to Donald Trump. Trump, who's been extremely unenthusiastic, did a horrible job of selling the movie.

Footage from the pre-show match, a lumberjack featuring Ric Flair & Carlito against Chavo Guerrero and Gregory Helms, aired. Flair and Carlito won.

WWE WrestleMania 23: Melina vs. Ashley

Women's Championship Lumberjill MatchThe WWE Diva Lumberjills made their way to the ring, followed by Ashley and then Melina.

Winner: Melina

Ashley knocks Melina down; the other Divas then come into the ring and engage in a catfight before stopping and collectively waving goodbye to Melina, who leaves with Trinity and Jillian.

WWE WrestleMania 23: John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels

WWE ChampionshipShawn Michaels enters first; Cena follows after arriving in a Ford Mustang that video footage showed speeding through the streets of Detroit and into the Ford Field parking lot; he drove the car through a glass WrestleMania sign at the side of the stage to enter the arena.

And, we're off!

Shawn Michaels slaps Cena at the onset, and he follows with a big chop to Cena's midsection.

Cena gets up, but he ends up in a Michaels hold. Cena counters and goes for a suplex, but Michaels dodges it and hammers Cena with some punches and a chop.

They lock up yet again, and it once again falls in Shawn Michaels' favor. He cranks Cena's arm as he lays some offense onto Cena's shoulder. He then tosses Cena to the mat and works a side headlock.

Cena eventually works his way to his feet, and then uses the ropes to force himself out of the hold. He follows up with a big clothesline on Michaels.

The crowd gets behind Michaels as he connects with a Lou Thesz press and pounds away on Cena. Cena, however, gets back up and almost tosses HBK to the outside. HBK stands on the apron, and after some striking, hip tosses Cena over the ropes and to the outside mat.

Michaels works on the outside, then uses the ropes to hit a springboard moonsault to the outside, landing on Cena and driving him into the announce table (not through the table).

The action comes back into the ring. HBK hits Cena with a hard chop to the chest; he follows with a hard right hand to the cornered Cena. Another chop.

The crowd dynamic is weird; it boos everytime Cena gets some offense, but it's not entirely behind HBK's offense either.

HBK continues the assault inside the ring. He focuses on Cena's left knee, causing the Champion to scream in pain. He slams the knee into the steel ring post.

HBK's offense on Cena continues. Cena tries to fight back, but the challenger's attack is too overwhelming.

Cena finally throws enough to get an even back-and-forth exchange with Michaels, and his right hand knocks Michaels to the mat. But Michaels comes right back and shoulder blocks Cena back into the turnbuckle.

Cena's now fighting back, but it's not enough to turn the tables. HBK is still in control.

Then, in a repeat of the spot from two minutes earlier, Cena dodges HBK's shoulder block, and HBK's face goes right into the ring post. Michaels is busted open, but thanks to HBK's attack, Cena's leg is far from one hundred percent.

Cena knocks Michaels to the mat and delivers some ground-and-pound. He continues his offense with a shoulder block and then a suplex. The crowd isn't into Cena's offense, but Cena feels he's near a victory. The five knuckle shuffle connects.

John Cena sets Michaels up for an FU, but Michaels wiggles out of it. Michaels then attempts a superkick on Cena, but Cena ducks, causing Michaels' foot to go straight into the face of the referee.

Cena goes for another FU; this time, HBK counters by turning it into a DDT. Both men are out on the mat, but it appears HBK is going to be the first up.

With the ref out cold, Michaels brings Cena to the outside and connects with a spike piledriver to the steel steps. He brings Cena back into the ring.

As Michaels goes for the cover, a second referee makes his way down to the ring. But, he's too late—Michaels only gets a two count.

Inside the ring, a bloody Shawn Michaels takes control of the action—he scores his flying elbow drop on the downed Champion. He calls for Sweet Chin Music, and is now merely waiting for John Cena to get back up.

But, upon returning to his feet, Cena charges Michaels and connects with a flying clothesline. Both men are lying flat on their backs.

They both get up and begin trading punches. Cena grabs HBK for another FU attempt, but HBK rolls off and almost pins Cena for a three-count.

They run off the ropes, and this time, Cena gets an FU. But, he's too winded to make the immediate cover on Michaels.

He eventually rolls towards Michaels, but it's only, predictably, good for two.

Cena sets HBK up on the top rope and considers a super FU, but Michaels works his way out with some elbows. Michaels flies off the rop ropes for a crossbody on Michaels, but Cena catches him and sets up for another FU. Michaels gets out of it, but then misses on a superkick attempt. Cena tries to turn it into a STFU, but Michaels won't have it. Great exchange, but it doesn't lead to a pinfall.

They get up, and Cena grabs Michaels' leg and sets up the STFU. He has it in for a little while, but Michaels eventually grabs the ropes. The referee and Cena argue about breaking the hold; Michaels takes advantage of the distraction and nails Cena with a superkick. He stalls before mamking the cover, and it's only good enough for a two-count.

Both men get up just a half-second before the referee can call for the double countout. Upon getting to their feet, Cena goes for yet another FU, Michaels gets out of it, but Cena then secures an STFU in the very center of the ring. Michaels, with no other option, taps.

Winner: John Cena

Man, it was my first time to watch a WWE event in a cinema and it was worth it naman.

Kennedy wins MITB. I loved his segment after the match. Mr Money in the Bank....Bank. Nice delivery. :thumbsupsmiley:

The ECW Originals vs New Breed was almost a sleeper if it wasn't for The Whole Dam Show. Sabu, Dreamer and Sandman had "not so loud" cheers. The Women's championship match wasn't really that impressive. i was hoping for some puppies :thumbsupsmiley: pero wala :thumbsdownsmiley: Khali and Kane's match was boring as well except for the fact that

Kane was able to body slam Khali but that was it. Khali won via his double handed chokeslam maneuver. :sleepysmiley03:

MVP was impressive on his match. He dominated almost the entire fight but came up short after Benoit's 3 german suplexes and the flying headbutt.

Batista stepped up sa against the Dead Man. He even drilled Taker sa ECW announce table via a power slam. :thumbsupsmiley: Olats nga lang. Big time talaga pag Wrestlemania, Taker once again did his death dive

Sa Billionaire vs Billionaire match, Austin was really a "hands-on" enforcer. He grabbed Lashley when Lashley was punching Umaga sa early part ng fight. Austin also warned and grabbed Umaga Twice, yung 2nd by the hair dahil he was choking Lashley even after the 5 count warning. Stone Cold received a couple of Samoan Spikes. Shane came down the ring to aid his father and even delivered a coast to coast dive to Austin. When Austin recovered, He gave Umaga,Shane, Vince and even Trump (sa celebration nato) a Stunner. :thumbsupsmiley:

The Cena-HBK bout was almost similar to the Angle-HBK Wrestlemania match a few years back. a lot of counter attacks and power moves. Cena's ala Fast and the Furious entrance was sweet. :thumbsupsmiley:
