It seems Vince really think this over having Cena booed and Batista's injury. Sayang lang at hindi natalo si Batista. I want a good fight with him maybe on the WM22 on his comeback. That tag team match between Morales-Backlund and the Wild Samoans was held in an open air stadium. From the clips shown during the time, the stadium was packed. It was a "2 out of 3 falls" match. Immediately after taking the title, Backlund and Morales gave it up; they said they just wanted to prove they could beat the Wild Samoans. I also remember this title fight between Harley Race and Tony Atlas in the NWA, another "2 out of 3 falls" match with a one-hour time limit. It was unbelievable in terms of drama. Harley Race tried desperately to hold on as Tony Atlas applied the sleeper hold. They had one fall each, but since Race was the defending champion and he managed to hold on till the bell, he retained the title even though he was the one left lying on the canvas. jopoc Posted January 12, 2006 Share Posted January 12, 2006 Here's something new..... just saw this on the net.....Bastista was placed on injury an since he could not represent the title GM Theodore Long ordered a Battle Royal for all the wrestlers of SD. Knowing that Kurt Angle was frmo RAW he still came in but was beaten up by SD stars...in the end part of the match only Angle and Henry was left... Angle was damn good enough that Henry and picked up the win to become the new Heavyweight Champ! :boo:<{POST_SNAPBACK}> i am very happy that ANGLE has been given what he deserves.
