SkimpyDeLeon
Okay house and lot, hindi space sa hangin binibili mo, pero mahirap nang bahain ngayon. So condo unit. May pool, gym, garden ka na, well so do all your neighbors. Quote Link to comment
carlito's_way
House and lot. Condominiums in the Philippines are way too over-priced. For the same price on condos in Metro Manila, one can get 2-3 times bigger in other countries. Quote Link to comment

kenji_1989
If Im rich syempre I get both. House and Lot as my main and a condo unit for my extension and other "events" which I dont want to be done at my house. But for the average, Id still go for a house and lot Quote Link to comment

carlito's_way
House and lot. I think condos here in the Philippines are a waste of money. It feels like a spider living in a matchbox. Quote Link to comment

Red light
What I did was I started with a condo first. Now that I am just 4 years away from completing its payment, I am looking at purchasing my second home, this time a 2-story 3-bedroom with basement house and lot. I started saving for the downpayment for the H&L 2.5 years ago and really busted my nuts working and saving money for it, constanly eating only 2x a day (maraming extra rice) and working sidelines as consultant for extra cash. I've foregone dating and going into bars and have limited my trip to massage parlor to just 3x or an average of once a year (just to make sure the steel pipe is still working). Now I have Php1 Million hard cash for downpayment. At 35years of age, I am confident that I can fully pay the H&L before I reach 60. Very inspiring sir ragstoriches! Quote Link to comment

RIP32M
got myself a condo unit recently. would prefer a house but i don't think i can afford the house that i want at this time, maybe in another 5 or 7 yrs. a condo works fine for a single guy anyway, the house will come.
