cooljoker888
i've had regular dealings with bpi, bdo, metrobank, rcbc and pbcom. my opinions will are based solely on my experiences... among these pbcom is good with service. they return my calls (few banks do this). metrobank is also good. since we know the staff, we leave the number card with our transaction and we come back to pick up the processed transaction papers. bdo and rcbc offer decent service. problem with bdo is there's no number system so when there's many people you play musical chairs and have to keep moving. the worst is easily bpi!!! it's just that our customer deposits in a bpi acct to pay us or else we'd close it. they are arrogant, slow, condescending, you name it. they have a sense of tisoy/tisay elitism. once deposited a large amount of money (they don't seem to really care about money but your ethnic descent - kailangan tisoy/tisay). i heard they don't like to hire chinese at their head office as well. for trying to confirm a deposit i was put on hold for so long that i walked to the branch instead (5 minutes lang =)) sure enough the phone was just on the table and the officer was typing something. so i walked up and said "it's faster to walk here than call a" so pahiya siya and di na naulit yung slow service. hahaha... another branch medyo tinarayan pa ako ng staff to wait for our statement printed out instead of confirmation by phone. they don't understand that sometimes we need to know immediately. this is why many people (rich or not) do not like dealing with them. mahirap kausap, mayabang pa. but they are normally considered the best and most profitable bank. it's the stability that people are after. there was a bpi branch though that had good service. cumshot
yup bpi sucks sobrang BAGAL whether deposit or paying bills you'll surely wait Quote Link to comment
jjb
I agree na lahat ng big banks pangit ang service. I bank with BPI and sobrang haba ng pila - kung simpleng desposit lang I usually look for the smaller branches para wala or kaunting pila lang - less the 5 minutes lang ako whenever I deposit.... MiG-29C
I had good experience with BPI when it comes to banking but I definitely don't like some of their policies. Not customer friendly! One time I had this transaction with BPI and the teller requested some identification for security purposes so I presented my Pilot's License and SSS ID. Sabi ng teller di raw puwede yung Pilot's License kasi Driver's License lang daw ang tinatanggap nila as shown on their list of acceptable IDs. What the hell! I don't have a Driver's License, I don't even own a car, don't drive one. Haller? What the hell's the difference... "driver" rin naman ako ah? Mas mahirap kaya makakuha ng license tulad ng dala ko kesa Driver's License. Katakot-takot na tests, physical and medical exam dadaanan mo. Yung sa LTO, napipeke pa nga yung drug testing results for a fee. And lastly, mine is issued by ATO, which is a government agency. Another gripe is yung mga fees that they charge even for a simple transaction such as an inter-branch withdrawal. But to answer the thread poster's question... I'd say the bank with the most lousiest service are those banks that are government owned. You suck bigtime you arrogant, lazybone sonnafaguns! Wala pang alas dose nag-break na. Public service, my ass! Quote Link to comment
