(stronger quads, and weaker hamstring).. so leg curls is a way to prevent it.. Quote Link to comment

Mahirap yung lumala or in my case mabinat yung injury. Mas hassle pag nagkaganun. Quote Link to comment

Depending on what type and direction of movement causes pain....kung may tenderness sa isang area ng pecs....the best way is to discuss it with a PT (im sure sa dinadami ng PT sa Pinas, meron kang kakilala...even student pa lang ) they could at least screen kung muscular injury yan or at least anong specific muscle ang may problem Quote Link to comment

mojo2NV
guys need help on my lower back pains... what should i do to prevent this from hurting..pina x-ray ko na sya and wala naman daw prob... sumasakit lower back ko usually pag matagal nakatayo...or parang nangangawit... 1. look at you posture...how you sit baka naka slouch ka lagi,or pag nagda drive ka..naka-recline ba masyado ung seat?..avoid going into positions na naa-alter ung normalcontour ng back mo..try to spread your weigth evenly ..avoid standing on one leg whenever possible 2. avoid bending down (kung may kukunin ka sa floor or may bubuhatin ka) with your knees straight (use your bigger muscles...i.e. your quads and hamsrting rather than your back muscle to bring you back up sa standing position or when lifting) 3. sit to work whenever possible (kelangan ba nakatayo ng matagal? baka pwede umupo naman) some points to remember on how to take care of your back 4. baka naman lagi makapal ung wallet mo and lagi mo inuupuan...just apossibilty na may nerve compression ka...it would never show on x-rays hope this helps Quote Link to comment

Bro if you dont feel the pain when youre running...nde yan Chondromalacia...the pain would have been aggravated by activity especially running... chronic pain ang Chondromalacia..which means matagal na! (other name for it is "housemaids knee" kasi laging nakaluhod sa paglilinis ng sahig) Yung sayo eh traumatic ang onset...ano pangmovements ang nag t-trigger ng pain?...could possibly a lateral collateral ligament problem Edited July 18, 2007 by mojo2NV Quote Link to comment

Fusarium_jimini
Sprained calves/ankles. I do mostly stairclimbing kind of exercise. Treadmill too. Rest the affected areas first (follow the RICE mnemonic mentioned here) for 2 days, then use a hot pack after which. after less than a week do some proprioceptive exercise to minimize injury recurrence.. peace! Caution though, therapeutic US is a complicated machine and knowing how to operate it does not warrant usage. It has many precautions and contra-indications. wrong use can result injuries like burns to deeper tissues or even air emboli that can go to your lungs or brain. Quote Link to comment
