I was given those hamburger type speakers as a gift when I brought my ipod itouch.... didn't last a month, considering I did not use it that very often. Also did not play it at very high volume. Kung nasa living room lang for playing music and home movies, it would be Altec, Bose or Klipsch. I'm satisfied with my creative and altec lansing 2.1 speakers. I've had it since 2003, never had problems with the sound or power fluctuation issues. You can't go wrong with JBL, BOSE and other higher end brand names. For the mid level drivers you have to read reviews and view technical specs like frequency range, cut-off, voice or equlization etc... Quote Link to comment
